Probably cheaper to get it towed there, or a low loader. Less hassle certainly. Or ring the AA and say you've broken down on the way to the garage!

I rung up and you can add another car onto your policy for no longer than 30 days, under your no claims. There is a charge of course. I was going to do it when I bought the C and was selling my old one.

No engine bay shot this time!
-
Bout £200!

She didn't drive it, although he did briefly and said a diff suspension and new bushes to replace the worn ones would make it feel like a different car! Told me £1000 would sort out all probs with the engine (blue smoke overrun)

Yeah its a wreck!

How much is andy paying you for the advertising?

Of course I'm the boss!

Just had my car serviced at PSI and had the MOT done today. It passed, thanks to the local 'friendly' MOT man! Apparently he had to do the emission test 3 times before it got through! One thing they both said is that I'll need new shocks within the next 6 month to a year. Yes dear, I need this new suspension (koni, eibach etc) because mines worn! A perfect excuse! Andy also said within a year or so I need new rear bushes, and eventually fronts too! Powerflex here I come! :) And because it's recommended by the garage I replace these she can't say anything!

Mines seems to have cured itself after I replaced the fan control unit. I'll keep an eye on it.

I was at PSI today, saw your car there, think the 1.8T is now in!

Just got in touch with my local Autoglym guy, seems pretty good and friendly. Said doing the course isn't a problem and buying all the AG products as well. I assume they turned up in the van with all of the products the first time you saw them? Also said (unofficially) that the Sealey polisher and the Silverline polisher are the same, only ones £165ish and the other £76ish. They sell both. Great advice (more than just this page for me  so thanks!). The guide on the Autoglym website is pretty good too I found.

VR6 yes, its the water temp. Not checked the sender, no idea what or where it is! :) How do I check it?

Ok, replaced the fan control unit with a brand new one which has solved the ignition problem. The only trouble is my fans aren't kicking in. I left it running and turned the engine off when it got to 102c because the fans aren't coming on at all! What else can I check? The fan unit & fuse are fine!

Powerflow are a franchised chain, my local one in leeds are fine! You pick your tailpipe and tell them how loud, or not, you'd want it. http://www.powerflowexhausts.net/HOME.CFM

Just go to powerflow and get a custom one done.
