Exact same thing happend to my missus, only she was the one that carried on round the round-a-about instead of coming off (2 lane r-about). We were going for 50/50 but her ins just said its your fault so we're not going to contest it! If this is the same I shouldn't worry!

Theres only one way to find out how much people are willing to pay. If you don't get the offer your willing to sell it for then theres your answer, you keep it. Agree with VR6Storm though, it will always be 'oh you've got Jays car'. Which means its brilliant, but someone else did it.

Ah, wheels, quaife, suspension just to name a few! Forgot about those! Suppose I should have read the sig! Anywho, one point I was attempting to make is that your average joe bloggs (not a vw nut) will prob just see a modified Corrado with an engine conversion, regardless of how good it is. Unless you looking for something like yours, a lot of buyers will prob want a standard car. No denying what its worth to you and money spent, but you'll never get all that back. As for keeping it, I would, but I haven't owned it for 4 years! What would you want to do next time?

Unless someone off the forum buys it (who knows what it has/means) I doubt your standard autotrader peeps will pay too much over the odds. If you advertise on specialised forums/clubs etc then I'd reckon on £8k ish. Somethings only worth what people are willing to pay for it. Banged up VR= £1500 Respray = £1500 Engine 24v Conv = £2800 Leather Interior Retrim = £2000??? TT dash Conv = £2000 I know it prob doesn't cover all that you've done (full loom etc) but these are actual quotes I've got, apart from the retrim. Total Cost = £9800 Thats for garages/bodyshops doing all the work, obviously most is labour. Would the new project be a Corrado?
