  1. schricks vacuum reservoir whats that look like then and are they available separate?
  2. Thanks man, i'd need to add those few wires into my loom then and find out where that thicker grey one is supposed to go? :(
  3. It was but i think E38 was a case of someone trying to sell it before they bought it themselves. I was lucky enough to get it on ebay.
  4. I own a 94 Aqua Blue Pearl VR myself and i've just bought a 2.8 VR with a stage 2 charger kit schrick inlet manifold cams etc that i want to put into my corrado. Its and OBDI Coilpack engine which is whats in my rado. I have the ECU and what looks like an addon? any idea what its for? and another addon that was attached to the induction bosch sender. A few months ago i could just about change a wheel, since i've re-built my own 2.9 VR but supercharging is a whole new world to me and wires and wiring chips etc go way over my head. Thers a bunch of cut pipes etc if anyone could point out problems they forsee, identify things for me or things im missing/need or give me any advice it would be greatly received. Also if anyone could give me a rough idea of what the car would be worth with this installed i'd appreciate it. The Charger kits done 4000 miles and the engines done the same since a £3000 re-build reciepts to prove the cars done 105k the engine totals 123k its on 9x16 borbet As on konis with only a cloth interior with a scorpion exhaust system. Its very pic heavy im sorry so if a mod could thumnail them for me i'd be greatful.
  5. Really want to go turbo but a charger came up and its a shame to sell it seperately, makes a nice car. I just have issues with corrados thats my 3rd one in my first year of driving lol
  6. Its a case of wether i sell the car with the kit on it or without. It went on the rollers standard apart from the exhaust and K&N pushing out 207bhp i re-built it then for forced induction. I have 268 cams to try with the charger as well so i'll have to see if its better with or without.
  7. Got mine with new rubber for little over £300
  9. Well my girlfriends dad imports these and though he can get hold of any jap import you want his business is based on a figaro specialist he deals in the cars and their parts all colours as well and as someone pointed out the pink is the most popular/expensive. He himself drives a F150/Harley truck 550bhp and he owns a VW camper thats having a 911 engine and his wife has two of these herself and i can vouch that they aint bad cars and even she has a beetle (so lets face it if they love VAG they have their heads screwed on) He imports them in bulk like i said these are his business and to be honest they're rare to the point you wouldnt really want to buy one with no history or from a private buyer and to be honest not just any jap importer as these arent exactly like your average skyline supra or evo you know? An you wouldnt want to be stuck for parts for them either. If you do look into buying one make sure its off someone who knows figaros. Anyway if you would like contact details for information on them or whatever let me know and i can pass them on. Personally i think they're alot more classy and fun than your average shopping trolley.
  10. You can talk about it all day long but it all comes down to the two cars there and then and where they meet. I live just outside or cardiff and i had a ~250bhp 20vt rado i never lost to a scooby and i beat a few evos two. I wouldnt put it all down to power though. I'd get toasted off the lights or from most standstills unless it was a real dumb driver lol but i'd always catch them and especially top end i didnt see most hit anything near 160 and 9 out of 10 wouldnt take a corner as fast as i was willing to but alot of my races spring from the look across the side windows on an overtake and a cheaky grin. The odd arrogant look or cut up of myself or another driver then i enjoyed scalping them but others didnt hate so much, just seem game for a laugh and when already rolling i'd have no problem beating them. My C being nugget yellow attracted alot of attention and i'd put money on the fact that most scoob drivers would see some 18'ish yr old in a bright yellow J reg "old" VW thinking this will be easy but one thing a corrado has over a scooby or most sports cars is we are underestimated and less well known you have that advantage so use it. Especially if you've got a conversion or money under your bonnet. The best feeling i had was taking a Evo vii from us both being behind a KA at 30 to 145 around a slight bend blasting past in the right hand lane looking over and thinking how'd your fat spoiler red mud flaps and loud exhaust make you feel now mate? lol 10, 20, 30k on finance wont buy you that. I've recently sold my car and it was well known around here so theres alot of drivers that will love playing with my VR i've just bought which is less powerful and wont handle as well. They will beat me but my C wont stay as standard for long and them beating me now is just going to make their shock even greater when im in front again soon after. Pick your cars your battles and your turf.
  11. I did sell mine but not for as much as expected. I did have a few offers of £5000 buti needed a quick sale I bought a VR i wanted for a turbo project but i'd say hold on and wait for the good weather to sell something like a Rado 20vt. Simple fact is a corrado isnt always a daily drive being on here isnt a good representation alot of rados are second cars and not so common and to sell one its going to be to someone looking for a corrado and to sell a corrado with a 20vt in its got to be to someone looking for that and just that. Wait for the good weather mate and it looks like its worth every penny of £6000+ truth is people dont realise how much it would cost to make that kind of car from a stock G60. They start talking about how they could get a G60 or 16v for ak etc well find a G60 or 16v in mint condition with full history etc for that money then add costs of the conversion and it sky rockets in reality. Give people time to phone up for quotes and that and grasp the reality of the price. Mine was nice and i paid £5000 for it and £3200 third party insurance being within my first year of driving at 19 and i love my corrados it was worth every penny. Just been driving for a year now and on my third, 20vt beats a standard VR and i think they're better than a supercharged VR at 350bhp+ (not starting a war lol) I think they're really underated. The only rado i'd have over one is a VR turbo or twin engined which im weighing up now. Best of luck with the sale mate.
  12. I was really pleased with my old 1.8t when i bought it alot of them sound a bit weak but this is what it sounded like from inside: (may take a minute to load) http://homepage.ntlworld.com/martin.cam ... viein1.mov http://homepage.ntlworld.com/martin.campbell4/Rado2.MOV And outside http://homepage.ntlworld.com/martin.cam ... movie1.mov http://homepage.ntlworld.com/martin.cam ... %20mov.mov Thats said im looking forward to the sound of the VR i just bought and re-built as a raw grunt rather than the dump valve kicking in every drop in revs.
  13. It does, thanks alot much appreciated. Now anyone have suggestions on help translating german? lol
  14. Do they make Borbet As in the 5 stud VR6 fitment? if so where could i get some?
  15. Hey guys i've been looking into workshop manusl for the corrado 2.9 vr6 now. I've been looking for manuals though and found the bentley one for the US 2.8 engine? Is this the same as the golf 2.8? An is there a manual i could buy on the 2.9? I need mainly for the torque settings and general reference when im going to re-build. Would the 2.8 golf manual be ok? or would i be better off with a 2.8 corrado manual or is there actually a 2.9 corrado manual on the earth? lol Any advice answers/ links etc would be great. Also any suggestions or info on rebuild would be greatly appreciated.
  16. lol no wasnt my mum, Like i'd ever let her get behind the wheel of my car lol There is another nugget yellow C think its a G60 near Barry think shes from around Penarth/Dinas area. I've had a smile off her once or twice but flashed other times and got a funny look. Dont think she understands what the car is. I always see a couple of Dark Blue and one dark green and one black rados around Barry anyone on here?
