1.8 16 v always forget to mention that .

got home earlier after fairly short drive and rad fan was on after switchin car of . settled down had a lovely tea made by the girlfriend changed new babies nappy watched a bit of tv stepped out to nip to shop and fan was still on. must be two hours at least . whipped out the manual to check which fuse it was but read wrong and pulled out the fan run on fuse to no avail and just ended up pulling the connector of the back of the fan. any ideas .

think there is one on e-bay with 9k for about 500nicker could be worth checkin it out as there is a littlebit on turbo/superchargers , not sure how to do a link though sorry. wes

mines same as yours mr brown although i have double your milage plus a bit more and its grey

evening all, anyone know whether a set of braided fuel lines from a mk2 golf 8v k-jetronic will fit on my corrado as mine are pretty coroded. spanx wes

so my ariel has broken and i have seen the wiki on how to replace and fix which is great but can anyone suggest the best way to shave the whole thing off and still retain good radio frequency pickup . ta

okay so the starter motor went and me being the budding mechanic that i am not decided to change it myself....................... like a fool i wired it up wrong whoops , next thing i know the cab is full of smoke and i cack my pants. any help would be aprreciated and if any one knows anybody who could repair this in the manchester area would be great. ta

no it was a corrado towing another corrado that had been chopped and the rear half converted to a trailer with the boot as access.

well this mornin tried to get her started but woneven get going just pop pop wheeze . dont know what to do , but patience is running out. spent 1200 quid over last two months!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have full conidence in the garage it took me quite a while to choose one though. but heres the deal today picked up the car at about 4 . running like a dream . just had new belts on everything . had mixture sorted as i said before . decieded to go for a spin and went to llandudno . which is quite a way from manchester . car was greatall the way just until icame into llandudno. and as i lift of the accelerator kerpow . she lets out an almighty pop and back is the crazy rev counter jumpin around like me on mushrooms . walked up the prominard quick wee potion of chips , you know the crack. so time came to get off as i had to pick a relative up fromthe airport in manchester . car running great again for most of the way only seems to happen if i am givin it gas all the time . picked my relative up and on the way back to bolton car sounds like a feckin machine gun , rat a tat tat . feckin great relative thinks were all gonna die . some times i just wish we would ............................ :drinking:

my c has been in to the garage today for that problem alone . the guys at the garage say they are unsure what the problem is and have told me to get it to a rolling road and get them to tak a look.told that the emmissions where quite high even after all mixtures had been tweaked . how can a rolling road help and are they expensive ? tryin to get her ready for a journey to spain. which is supposed to be in six weeks. lol :onfire:

it seems i have lost a clip from my gearstick, causing my gearstick to slide to far off the linkage when trying to engage gears. can someone tell me what i need to ask for , where i can get it and the cost . cheers

while we are on the subject of brakes , i recentley got hold of a porters mighty manual . wow how confusing is it. does any one know the model of calipers on my 1.8 valver 91 . i think they are standard as they look well old any thoughts peeps. wes

bit the bul;let and booked an electrician for saturday , fingers crossed it wont cost that much............... keep you all posted
