99k on mine. I have always wanted a VR thats the only reason i'm contimplating selling. Mine looks the way i want and owes me alot more than the market but i convince myself it'll be worth it when i get a VR. Stick with it mate. I sold my last rado to my dad, i hated life without one sooooo much and was only without a rado for about a year (whilst looking for another). My dad borrowed me his/my old rado in the end when i needed it to make me smile again :lol:

I tried this once and nearly had a little accident! I drive my front wheels onto blocks of wood now, then jack up the car. Much safer. . . i think :lol: My brothers does this, everytime he gets in the car he has to wind the window down and then back up again to rectify the rattle :lol: There are alot more hates being mentioned than love :D

Again drying the car and a gallon of water will escape from the rear lights and from above the bumper! IT MAKES ME MAD!!! Stupid stupid stupid rattles that appear from NOWHERE! Being greeted very politely by the stealers “Trust Volkswagen”. “Hello I’m calling regarding my 94 Corrado”. “Oh, what do YOU want!?” People who replace the standard mirrors for aftermarket ones (Sorry don’t want to offend anyone but the standard ones rule!!)

The LEDS make the indicators bright yellow, they work a treat. Thing is i never want to chance it so i always change back to standard lights just for the MOT. Anyone MOT'D their car with the all red rears on? Also my reverse lights are painted over and as a result are bright red. Does anyone know if the reverse lights are part of the MOT? Might seem like a dumb question but i aint gotta a clue!

I always find it best to call them. They usually return a premium, but then knock things off whilst your on the phone

I have my VR insured with adrain flux, £360 fully comp, & they always try 1 on by giving a higher quote than last yr at renewal time a quick hunt around,beat their offer then ring them 2 get them 2 reduce their price & I renew give em a try & get the VR kept :) I do exactly the same with HIC. They hike up my price, i call Adrian flux who give me a much better price and HIC match it. Thing is I think they are the same company?!?

Well I'll be buying some of that then. Curiousity has the better of me! :)

Where do you buy liquid carbon though? I'd give it a go :D

Never seen a corrado with cruise control. However, in the manual that comes with the car it has an operation guide in there for it. :shrug:

I thought all pressed plates were illegal? How can you tell the legal ones?

Oh right, makes sense now. You'll still have to turn the car over now and again whilst playing though, it doesn't last that long. You need a power capacitor by the sound of it, need had one myself but told they are very good, play music for hours without touching the battery. Yeah i've done that before, sounds like a fuse. Have you checked the fuse the in 12v cable from the battery to the amp or the fuse in the amp itself?

Did this to my mates polo a couple of months ago, very easy to do as well as the first reply states. The standy light remains on contantly, even when the car is locked. We thought this would drain the battery but months later and not a glitch to report. The garage he took his car to somehow damaged the temp 12v supply (dont know how :roll: ) so thats why we wired up to the perm feed. Why do you want to do it, whats wrong with turning the key one notch :grin: (if you dont mind me asking)

:offtopic: a bit off topic i'm afraid. But has anyone heard about putting weights under the tyre? So the weights are in the same position, but the other side of the alloy (that make sense??) i've had my refurb done for 5 months now with new weighs and they are all rusty and look terrible :mad2:
