especially as most of the other people using the carpark are 4x4 driving mums who are too lazy to walk more than 10 feet to the supermarket entrance, so you should have 90% of the carpark to yourself!! Unless Herisites gets there first! :lol:

Was roused Saturday by my house mate to say there was a note on the front door of our flats..... Yup the Rado was broken into overnight! Went in throught the rear1/4 glass. That pi$$ed me but the scrote also cut themselves, so their manky pikey blood was over the car and all the stuff the went through (glove box/door pockets, ashtray, back seats down, into the boot). What did they take? NOTHING! :mad: Even had the face for the stereo on the drivers seat! Still plod got samples for DNA so a good chance of catching them, especially as they went out through the lifts and communal areas of the flats (left blood in the Lift, on the front door etc) thus gaining a breaking and entering charge to Attempted theft from a motor vehicle and criminal damage to a motor vehicle. So should get them 2hrs community service. Now this was in a supposedly "secure" car park, but found a fire escape door open. So I guess the moral of the story is check and double check...

OK so how do you get the really tiny shards of glass out of the seats? Had my car done at the week-end, Autoglass done the rear 1/4 and done a good job of cleaning up. But there's still really tiny shards in the seats... Hoovering won't get them, any other ideas?

Cheers Mystic, I have to leave the car at Standsted this week-end (Xmas Pary in Cornwall, co's paying for flights!) so will liberally douse all the screws in WD40 before I go. Can just the reflector be removed/replaced or do you need to take the whole unit out? Have a new set but don't want to go down the rusty screw route if possible? Also the big white aduster has broken (bit in the back of the light unit) on one, are these still available? Sorry for numpty questions but want to do this right first time....

"3 Instrument Panel, Number Plate light...." Actaully labelled on mine as just No Plate light.... Found out it also does the dash when my Dipped fuse blew one night. So I thought, "I know numberplate light's the least vital thing I can rob a fuse from". Went to start the car, lights working, but why can't I see the dash?" Bl00dy Germans.... linking the dash and the no. plate lights.. Though they were supposed to be Logical. :mad:
