They won't fit a Fiesta mate..
-
And in Phils second shot down you can see what happens to the rim when you drive on Stretched tyres... Oh yeah it was Claire wasn't it Phil? ;)
-
Recently an 8-series Bimmer... no surprise there... However the Mk2 Goof that kicked my arse coming onto the A41 from Aylesbury was a surprise.. until I heard the VR roar as it went past.... Oh and the pair of VR's from the drive upto the Scorcher... but at least I kept the pesky Nugget Valver behind me!

There's laws against keeping endangered species in confined spaces... Doesn't he distract you at night too?
-
Hey Andy, no worries about lending you my mega-expensive polish... (Ok I'm not quite into the "Wax perv/Car Molester" levels of Rob) Now remember your pay-back for that? A weekend of you sitting in Overstone Park with 4 Estorils, a bucket of water and some wet & Dry...
-
IIRC eveny on a sold as seem private sale you still have 14 days grace in which if anything goes wrong the previous owner has a legal resposability to pay for the repairs... It's obviously longer (30 days??) for Trade bought cars... Go back to the owner point this out and aske for the money for your time and all the parts, point out that if it was a garage he'd be paying 2/3 times what you want!

Uhoh more expensive hard to find headlights for the future!
-
Dec, you seem to have picked "70's orange" as you colour of choice! Hoping this is just a camera phone colour issue otherwise it could be a very uncomfortable place to sit with a hangover!

This is the 1.8 16v head....head

Good to see you came out unscathed.... and minor damage to the Rado too.. My first was a biggie.. not on speed as I was only doing about 30-40, swerved to avoid what I thought was a sheep (turned out to be a stray dog), however the force of being stopped dead by a ditch wrote off my mom's brand-new Rover! Still she got a new one and they upgraded the model in the meantime so all's well... sort of... Been generally quite sensible from then on.... Like Walsey said the dangerous drivers are the ones who DON'T learn from their mistakes, no matter how small or big... and still drive like loons... The local donkey in Yellow/black Supra with a busted front end is the prime example.. chased me down a slip road and onto a duel carridgeway (sp) at 80 with a cumpled bonnet held down with Bungees and tie-wraps!

I've told you it's not a piece of agricultural machinery! And NOT Massy Fergusson Red, or John Dere Green either...

Ok what is your Mascot of choice in the Rado? All my cars (bar one) have had some form of mascot... Currently I have a Mr Hanky Keyring Hanging off my rearview mirror... "Hidey-hooo!"

Should have kept the Matt Bule and had it pinstriped... Hot-rod stylee..... -
Nope want to something a little different... too many polished/ silver/ blck&polished wheels out there.... Seeing Croozin's black Compro's made me have a think.... Black/reds are a little bit Hot-rod... Think the Orange will work as they car's monochrome...
-
They'd clash with your paint matey.. ;)
-
Ohhh am liking Black/red and the signal orange ones... Hmmmm....
-
Cheers Rob, spot on... Could you pop on my other choices as well White/Anthracite/Signal orange/etc.. (no Fluro Pink please)
-
That's the puppy... OK the paint scheme mings for the US but I quite like the wheel treatment... Rest of the car's either Pearl Ghay or black anyway... Can any-one photochop the above picture to show this please?

Yeah nice cars those. Didn't it smash the Nurburgring record recently? If he was pulling away 'marginally', he wasn't anywhere near close to it's outer limits, power or dynamically speaking. Turbocharged Corrados are good, yes, but not THAT good and certainly not across challenging B roads, they're pretty poor by modern standards, imo. If that Ultima was driven in the manner it is capable of, you would have been left for dead! Was a Radical SR8 at the 'ring IIRC... Kev Ultima are/were essentially kit cars.. so possible to keep up with them in a "quick" Rado.. and across B roads the Rado probaby is the better dynamically, as they are set for sweeping flat race-circuits.. not cambered skinny B's... They have Huge tyres and bog-all suspension travel... The Ultima's not much better either!

Euro Sport "ITG" Cool-Flo Air Intake work on G60?
vwdeviant replied to aftermathG60's topic in Engine Bay
Foam filters=more work for Darren! -
If the gasket is leaking you can smell it in the coolant very easily and it will blow steam out of the tail pipe if leaking bad enough. I doubt he has that issue tbh. Unless your headgasket does what the one on my Rocket did and fail between cylinders 2&3! No water/oil or steaming exhaust warning... Just driving along and POW down to 2/3 cyls... Garage never seen one before... Good jobs Rob... Rado specialst and detailer is the way forwards for you then! ;)

Hey John, nope nothing to report, the funds have taken a bit of a battering of late and the money spent on tyres was allocated to the C's refurb.... Am leaning towards Satin Black with the rim picked out in red.. Have seen a Mk5 GTi in the US with a smiliar set and like the look... May just bung them on for the weekend to see how I get on with them anyway (just need to check the tyres for tred and pressure) If not it'll still be rolling on Scabby Estorils...

Even on Trim and dash etc?? Or follow Barry Scott's Advice................TRY NEW CILLIT BANG!

Bugger, then again I think my Infinity's are 5 1/4.. fingers crossed....
