Now, how do I sort a trade card out?
-
Wider as in it still fits the orginal clamp and sticks out into the engine bay a bit more?
-
Which provide the 200amps at -5? The normal or the deep-cycle ones? Car will be regularly used now I have sorted by DVLA issues out (them losing my V5 is what kept it off the road in the first place)
-
Not that you're biased Will? Maybe you should move out of "God's Waiting Room" if you don't like old people? ;)

Stu that's nothing... When I was 'Repping (and any-one who drives for living will Id with this this) I'd reulary see people on the Motorway/ A roads drinking coffee, talking on the mobile, smoking a fag, looking at a map book.. and all at the same time whilst steerin with their knees.... Not taht I ever did.. I always pulled over a service stations to do that sort of thing and kept my hands at 10-to-2 on the, never crossing my arms.. etc...

Nice looking C there... Now the weather's a bit better get some Shiney photos done too First jobs? Lowering and a 90mm chin spoiler? -
Ok Have to buy a new battery for my Rado due to the old one (which was "elderly" before I gave it a 3 month enforced layoff) dying on me... So have to source a new one for this weekend's meeting at Brands.. now Do I go get a HellFrauds jobbie or can anyone recommend anything better? Car will be doing short week-day trips (about 5miles each way) and used at the weekends.... So I guess a "deep charge" (or whatever they are called) type is in order....

My Pearl Ghey 16v Gone :( - Introducing "Annie"

IT LIVES.. cheers Mark (jonesmark12) for coming over last night with leads and air compressor... :salute: Jumped fine, slightly worried initally as we hooked the cars up and nothing on my dash, no LCD, no ign. light, no alarm... after a minute or so got a bleep from the Clifford, so with fingers crossed stuck the key back in, disabled the alarm and..... First time! Vrooom! Left her running for a few minutes whilst pumped up the dodgy OSF tyre (only goes flat if the car's not used for a while? Stay fine if I use it... Time for a pair of Toyos on the front I think).. then the moment of truth... 3 months with the handbrake on! Was expecting to have to give it beans and dump the clutch to try and break a frozen handbrake... nope, she released fine! So off we set with Mark following with jump leads etc, and to watch for anything amiss... me waiting for something to happen... bit of left foot braking on the main roads to clean up the discs and all seems fine, she accelerates when asked to (Initally a couple of small puff of smoke but I'll take that) stops when I jump on the anchors... Got her home again, left her running another couple of minutes, switched off, tried to re-start and clicky clicky... nothing! :( Oh well the least I could have expected is to have to buy a new battery! So off to get one this week and all seems good (touches as much wood as possible) for the weekend.... Will treat her to a full Valet over this week too! :afro: -

Lisa, Nice but be prepared for comments of "oi Love your bonnet's open" at the lights... Got this all the time with the engine lid stand-offs on the bug... Also you may want to think about changing back to the original filter/box as they give the best charger protection apparently.. Did you ever find a place for the dangly blue plug we were tring to find a home for at Mimms? -

Cheers Chap... Nothing happened over the weekend re-Rado as was too taken up self-moving, and driving the 2nd worst Transit ever.. V-max empty 50.. full 35-40  Oh and a set of "Exploding" jump leads... the croc clips managed to break when I eventually found them! So a new set of those needs to be purchased too. Will get it alive this week and hopefully sort anything from there.... -
"Err... where do I put my hands?" More to the point if that steering wheel Airbag does go off..... Hesus!

Scirocco/Corrado OEM subframe compatibility with RECARO seat
vwdeviant replied to BigTartanJudge's topic in Interior
Not too sure about Skyrocket/Recaro frames but stock 'Rocket frames only drop at the rear, hence the "Gangsta Lean" driving position with a lot of Skyrocket drivers (me included!).... HTH... -

Yup! Will have to get used to Pothole/speed-hump vision again too! ;) -
Skills man..... Is it my eyes or does the S-wheel look pretty big? Then again the Rado's wheel's not exactly small! Gav, if you still have the wheel about, I think I have an early column in mine, (has the early style interior) so maybe try it at Brands?

So after 3 months of fighting the ruddy DVLA over where my V5 has gone... Yes we have it, but were bogged own with new reg issues Yes I can see we have it but not sure what's happened to it... Sorry we haven't got it at all... You'll need to re-submit a V5, we'll send a letter to your old address in 2-3 weeks of recieveing this, and if we haven't had a reply after 4 weeks we'll issue a new V5! "OH FFS!" Went and spent 1.5 hrs queuing at local DVLA office and have a new tax disc and will have to waiti agin for V5 as only Swansea can do these :( . Also told I could either pay for the 3 months missing tax, or that their "enforcement" dept will be in touch about the fact it's not been taxed since end of March and not SORN'd either ... OH FFS2! Still I now can leagally drive it again! So apart from a very flat Battery, what else can I expect to be wrong when I try and wake it from it's slumber this weekend? -
Congrats matey, nice to see some justice.. So what you buying to write off next? ;) Did you come to a deal about the car itself or has it been outed to a "re-cyclers"?
-
Andi, just a quick idea (if you're about ATM).... Maybe make up a batch and fit them at the Summer Scorcher (if you're coming)? We can do a direct comparison then...

Beware of anything involving Alcohol, 70's music and the word Woodstock.....

Would that be John Mayer Racing? Spoken like a Pure Aircooleder! ;) Think John Meyer's suspended business due to an imminent Buzzcocks Reformation Tour....

When does running away become pointless?
vwdeviant replied to Sonicriot13's topic in General Car Chat
Keep your foot planted, after all it's a L(ots)O(f)T(rouble)U(sually)S(erious).... so after 50 miles will need fixing ;) Jim, if you see what Exiges come with as standard (IIRC they are "DOT legal" Yokos...Similar to Toyo 888) you'd understand why he was having problems keeping in a straight line.... -
khurrado.... anyone know where the fella has dissapeared to?
vwdeviant replied to Johnboy98's topic in General Car Chat
