Wales, is your G standard or chipped 'n' pullied? Would a smaller pulley make it rev higher than a std pulley? Min is c'n'p'd and 80mph = 3k on the revs

Pretty sure Rossco converted his 2.0L 16v to a G60 on his own aswell.

Sounds like your window is rattling off the runner or whatever part it is it rattles off. Mine is doing the same but I can't be arsed sorting it as I'm sure Kev has said it's a pig to do! Scraped knuckles at dawn and lots of swearing!

Probably my mate Fraser. Was it lowered on multi spoke 17's with a centre exit exhaust by any chance? Oh and tinted rear windows but not fronts? -
IIRC, the bonnets that came on the storms were just standard late type bonnets. The only difference is the paint which isn't that special either. Came as a MK3 Golf colour too. Not sure what it'll be worth though.

Looks awesome Furks. Keep up the good work.

Cheers OrbitAL, My wheels are passat steelies and people either love em or hate um. There are pics in the members gallery. I thought something looked funny about your car. Hope you get the to$$ers that ripped the bits off your car mate. -
They are in my Supercars from Around the world Book. Apparently very quick, nice cars but haven't seen one on the road before let alone driven one.

Spotted a dark blue or Black Raddo on Rouken Glen Road when I was heading to wards the M77. Was given a flash (way-hey) and a wave and I gave a wave back as I noticed at the last minute. Anyone on here?

Was posted earlier today matey.

Always even volume settings! Everywhere! can't stand it when someone changes it to an odd number. That's my only rule apart from no smoking and no drawing on the windows when they're steamed up and no opening the boot using the spoiler.

Brilliant mate! That's the dude from Prison Break/Constantine/Armageddon.

Spotted Petros on the way home from work last night. Sorry I couldn't stop and chat, had to get bulbs and my dinner sorted. Speak to you soon mate. -
It wasn't an on the spot fine, I've got 21 days to pay it. Still, would rather pay £60 on the spot and get no points than what I'm getting. I bought the car 3 years ago with the tints on and I knew that they were a tad on the dark side. Luck just ran out. Cheers for the support guys, just keep your eyes open.

That's what's really bothering me, the inconsistancy. My mate got pulled by a single copper on a random check and got told to remove them there and then but no fine or points for him. I think they were on patrol. I was driving along the Clydeside out of Kinning Park. At the lights before the bridge where you cross to get to the St. Enoch centre. Watch out. Or remove your tints.

Good point H8RRA lol. Just pissed off that I've now got 3 points for tinted windows when I see people driving with illegal plates, fog lights on, on the phone etc. I know the law is the law but just a litte annoyed. The cop was like, "nice car, don't see many of these around. Do you take it to shows?" Was hoping for a warning but got reamed instead. Ah well, you live and learn.

It was classed as a dangerous accessory so I'm pretty screwed. I was thinking of writing a letter to put in with my fine saying that I feel 3 poins was a bit excessive as it was fixed at there and then at the side of the road but I don't think It'll do me any good. Think I'll just take it on the chin and hope that my insurance doesn't sky-rocket as a result.

Looks like the wave of luck has run out. Got pulled by the police last night on my way home from work. Reason: suspected illegal window tints. Now I knew it would happen sooner or later, but I didn't realise it was 3 points and a fine. Ignorance is no excuse in the eyes of the law! So they checked my front windows. Supposed to let 70% light through. Actually only let through 20.5% No arguments from me. I knew they were a little on the dark side but I didn't realise they were proper Darth Vader. Had to remove tints at side of road or get car towed away, thankfully they came off in one easy peel. Now I've got a Corrado-van! I'll be removing the rest of the tints at the weekend as the car looks pish with just the rear tinted. Ah well, had to vent. Just a warning to people in Glasgow that the Motorbike Cops have the equipment to test your car. As I was heading home after removing my tints, they had pulled a guy in an Astra for his tinis also. Watch out!

H.I.C. have offered me an agreed value at renewal this year. Gonna cost me £15 for the year. My car is not on a classic policy either.
-
Too true mate!
-
And an engine that'll melt and cost £6k for a rebuild apparently.

He's got an external aerial.
