Is the dashboard from the Passat the same as the ones found in the late spec C's? Looks the same to me but not 100%. Would imagine if it is, it will be easier to get a hold of one than a Corrado one. Want a late spec dash in the future and this may help if correct. Any ideas peeps? Cheers Edit:- might actually be better off in the Inside your interior section. If so, could one of the mods please move it for me? Cheers

Think it is all done from inside the tailgate. Was having a look at my spoiler yesterday so wasn't really paying attention to the boot lock but it all seems to happen from in there.

Wrong!! Everybody knows that the flux capacitor goes in the middle of the back seats. Most likely to be where the time circuits are fitted Sorry, couldn't resist 8)

I once saw a couple of mechanics at my local stealer replacing a windscreen on a MKIV Golf  I feel priveladged now (that is so not selled right but I can't really think at the mo)

About the discs. Take them off and clean the mounting surface at the hub. Sometimes debris on the surface can cause the disc to sit slightly unevenly and feel warped. Just before you splash the cash check it out.

my mate has put a bid in for the stickered up G60. "will be the first thing to go" he says. thats if he's successful.

The ones in the grey tins. We had boxes full of em ready to go back and the paint aisle was closed off for about a week. Not good for customer relations: "I'm sorry sir but we can't give you any paint this week. Why? Oh the cans have been found to explode randomly and remove limbs and digits from people but it's really nothing to worry about!". Don't worry mate, the faulty ones got recalled from the stores and there were no more reports of unexplained explosions. Sill, if you want rid of the shed you could leave it in there in this hot weather

Could you cousto fit the alarm buttos from a clifford alarm into the keyfob? Just asking as if I was to do this I'd like it all in the one thing. Am I just being picky? Whats the point in having buttos you cannot use? Looks cool but can someone give me a bit more info on what you could do with it or is it just for show?

Try taking the disc off and cleaning the mounting surface. Lots of people forget to do this when changing discs and it can lead to debris on the mounting surface causing the disc to sit slightly off and cause the car to judder. Check this first before you spend ANY MONEY! Had the same problem after I got my G60 and first thing I did was get the wheels balanced (£10). That didn't work so I got the alighment checked (£40). That also didn't help, so I finally got new discs and pads (£180) and finally the problem was solved. When the mechanic was fitting them he asked if I'd tried to clean the mounting surface as debris can cause braking judder. If I'd known about it I would have done that first to see if that helped. Not sure if the left front disc was warped or not now cause of this idea he had but it is worth a try. The discs and pads I took off and replaced were Zimmerman X-drilled and EBC Greenstuff pads. Changed to Zimmerman X-drilled and pagid fast road pads (and a clean mounting surface). No complaints apart from lots of brake dust!

Once again a big cheers to all who made my car not read 146 degrees as soon as I switch it on!!!! Virtual pints all round every one JoeM, got it sorted without having to remove any panels whatsoever  and the recommended "mplegrips and twist" technique worked wonders. I'll say one thing though, the G60 engine is very toit for space. Not ideal for working on (VR must be a nightmare!!) but no grazed knuckles so no real complaints. Henny, you were right about loosing very little oil, not even enough to get the rag wet from the switch on the righ of the block! No oil at all from the oil filter housing holees either 8) Renewed all of the connectors aswell cause they looked like they had seen better days plus what's the point in putting new switches in and keeping 11 year old connectors? Think I'm gonna go hoover it out now and give the interior some attention. Thanks again :D  :D

The black looks good and blends well with the number plate surround but I prefer the black/red (not that i'm biased or anything)

Plus Halford spray cans have a habit of randomly blowing up!!! We had quite a few Halfords own spray paint cans recalled because of unexplained explosions! Shhh, don't tell anyone

Was at the Stealer this afternoon ordering bits for the C and spotted one of the R32's in the showroom. "Cool" I thought to myself until I spotted that it was indeed........ a FIVE DOOR!!!!!! Why oh why did they make "the fastest production golf ever" in a five door? Do you see Porsche making FIVE DOOR 911's? Had to get that off my chest, sorry. Now where did I put my tablets...
