    MFA Oil Temp

    Nice avatar stevemac 8)
  5. Good man Henny! I was going to mention your little idea but didn't incase you wanted it kept hush hush. Let us know how it goes and if you make anymore to sell 8)
  6. You could stick 'em where the centre heater vents are. Mine is like this but I want them moved to somewhere else. I know the one on the left is a cowboy job (duct tape over cardboard) but I didn't fit them. the boost gauge on the right isn't so bad.
  7. Must've escaped a mental home

    Oil light/bleep

Blue/white wire on mine is connected to nothing but I have perssure, volt, boost and temp gauge fitted. :? Bloody cars, always have bits that don't connect to anything!!
  9. I got mine from Bedrock Veedubs for £175. They are in Motherwell and will fit them for a bit extra too. Don't know if ones for the VR will cost more or not.

Believe me, you don't wanna go much higher!
  11. Well apart from Joe nearly becoming part of my parcel shelf  there were no worries
  12. Terrible really...... you'd never catch me doing something like that
  13. I agree with darren on this one. Got this set up for my G60 and apart from the brake dust that comes off by the bucketload (well, lots) I have no complaints. First real test for them was the way to kames and the twisty roads had me hammering them on late and no worries.
  14. the heatrer controls from the passat fit. Couple of people on here have done it but I'm not sure what year/part no etc.

    Headlining

Ah b0110ck$ !! Damn, yet another voice of reason to prevent me spending my money on stuff I really don't need. I'll go and have a good think about it and possibly cost the operation. Would like to keep her for a longtime but I want a VR when funds permit. Look slike I'll have to save up and have both

    Headlining

Yours has beige everything does it not Roddy? Very nice indeed but a nightmare to keep clean in the wonderful Scottish climate we have. It's bad enough with my grey carpets. Do you think I'm chasing a lost cause with this one or do you think I might just pull it off? Personally I think I'm on to plums but it's worth a try aint it? Cheers for your speedy resopnse mate :D

    Headlining

what colour of headlining came in the Corrado's? At the minute mine is greay and was wondering if I'd be able to get my hands on one that is black. Was just wondering as I'm toying with the idea of changing all the grey interior bits with black ones to match the paintwork and to contrast with my cream leather. Ideally want headlining, carpets, dashboard (late-spec hopefully) and pillar trims all black as I think it will look sweet. Cheers for any input guys, G
  19. I had a nightmare lastnight that I opened the garage and that car was sitting there instead of mine :x The rest of the car is great, pity it's got a face like a welders bench!!!

    Heated seats

Cheers Joe but as you can see this is the first time at the computer all weekend so I've missed that chance! Need to figure out if all the wiring is there and get me a late spec dash with all the buttons. Did all the VR's come with heated seats? Let me know how the focals sound. 8)

    Heated seats

I've got full cream leather interior from a storm in my 92 G60 and I was wondering how easy it would be to wire up the heated seats. The wires are still at the bottom of the seats but there is obviously no buttons to press and no loom as the seats are not for a var as old as mine. Anyone got ideas as to how easy if at all it would be to wire it up. I know I'd probably need a late spec dash for the switches but what else? Would like to get it done before the cold Scottish winter sets in. I've got Joe M the than for putting the idea in my head at Kames. Cheers mate
  22. I use 10W 40 Magnatec in mine.
  23. What sort of connector is it? Will I have to make one or does the connector from the LED's plug right in? Also, will both LED's plug in? Looks like I will be getting some LED's soon! 8) The question is what colour though? Red to match the LED fir the alarm or something a bit different?
  24. My cheapest has to be 23p + V.A.T. for a washer for my rad cooling fan switch. Most expensive so far has been brake discs @ £150 so not too bad (yet).
