Just had a quick question to anyone who has fitted this breather. I picked one up from the wayside today and mine seems to have two pipes coming of it. One from the front (as per pic) and one to the rear. In line with the front, both pipes are inline and you can see through them! Don't have a camera, but will try and post up some pics Part number for the bits was 06A 103 465 D (this was for breather and gasket). VAGCAT shows this item with 1 outlet as well! Have I got the wrong item? Also with venting to air, do you get any oil smells in the car? Thanks

LOL See what you mean! Looks like a teenage joy rider in the driver seat! The stance looks awsome though. Look forward to seeing the Corrado finished, very neat welding by the way. Trying to pick this skill up at the mo and it is f****n alot harder then it looks, at the mo just seem to be using my kit to melt holes in metal!! LOL  -

This is mental!!! Is that a Rallye rear axle sat under the car on page 1??? -
Have not sealed yet, removed the motor and just painted the hole with hammerite, am planning on running some silcone round the inside of the grommit before I push it in though. Will get some pics up, bit embarrased at the mo  as the rest of it looks like an absoloute shed, has about an inch of dust on it!!! LOL
-
Chers, de-wipered mine too!!! Looks loads better, should be easy to clean as well as I always use to snag and rips cloths/sponges on the rear wiper!!!

Sh*t mate!!! Similar thing happened to me last year (I was in missus car though), my front end was mashed, the other motor didn't have a scratch, unbeilavble. Well it wss untill I got a letter from the other drivers solicotor (one of those injury lawyer 4 u jobbies!). basically they shafted my insurance company for shed load of money. Sent pics of the damage to the other drivers motor, but they weren't intrested.

Hi mate, The Audi setup is something I have been thinking about seriously as well. On the back of the 16v head there is a oil temp sender used for the MAF, you can buy (think it is M10x1 - check vagcat), a splitter? of http://www.thinkauto.com/ so you can screw the temp sender back it and run a oil feed of it. The oil return will need to go to the sump! fittning for the turbo can be purchased off http://www.034motorsport.com/. As for water lines, there again some senders on the side of the block that can be used. What did you get with your purchase? manifold, turbo, wastegate, downpipes??
-
P&P for me (dependant on final price!!)
-
I had to stay at home as well, work was screwing but what can you do!! Plus the little ones nursey called saying there shut, still have to bloddy pay them for the day though :(
-
Damn, can't seem to find that thread. The guy of ed38 is it raj? think i have a pic of his inlet somewhere, I am sure he used a cusom plate instead of the lower section of a valver manifold to weld onto. The diff in weights between inlets is surprising!

You tried to drive into to work in this snow?? you must be bonkers yarr!

Cool, Haldex conversion sounds better by the minute. Dutchdub kit also sounds like a worthwhile investment! -
sounds like a plan! Wonder how the N/A 20v lumps from VW/Audi drive? Suppose with new rail you will be easily be able to sell it on after you have finished with it anyway. Think there was a guy on clubgti that used the inlet 20vT inlet on his N/A 16v with MS, will try and dig out a link.
