Nice work, is that the kit frmo dutchdub? With the haldex diff is it still poss to mount the rallye anti roll bar? or do you have to go custom? If do you have to get rid of the rear ARB drop us a PM :D -

Any guideance would be awsome!!!! There are probably alot of people here that want to go the MS route, but just aren't that confident with the elctronic side of tuning.
-
Had no choice but to spend cash on mine went I bought it!!! Loads of stuff happening at the mo as well (mostly mechanical)......all will be revealed soon! Enjoy!
-
GSF or ECP should do it, make sure it is G12+. Or from your local VAG, you will only need 1 bottle. No that expensive either, think mine was about £8-12 from Wayside VW
-
damn those motor bikes are irratating!!!
-
Think that is pretty much what I will end up doing, sure it will be cheaper to get it done it one hit...but whos counting the cash!!! Want to get the engine balanced etc more for reliability than power, even if it Turbo it. have to admit the car is the only thing I am planning a couple of years ahead. Damn..if only work was this intresting life would be great!
-
Ahh I see....that makes sense! Hope you don't mind me asking, home much does it cost to get bits balanced? e.g. crank, conrods, pistons and where is a good place?

Hi mate Awsome work!! You seem to be the fella to ask about bodywork and the like! Where were you when my motor needed a repspray!! just kiddin. The bodyshop murdered my car, then they tried to blame it on the age of the car, the state of the paint underneath, the way the wind was blowing on the day  u get the idea!!! Stlll fecked off with them and its been back 3 times!!!! -
LOL...I managed them even with my crap tools set. Would recommend soaking them ASAP with WD-40, they are big b******s Must be a real tight squezze working in a VR6 enigne bay though! remeber the cuts and bruises on my hands from working on my old V6...still miss it though :(
-
Breaker bar!?? what ya planning to do with that? Though you were replacing the rad!!?
-
I have BIG plans for my motor  oops said too much, know what you mean though! Sometimes I wonder if I am going bonkers though!! Will spend a silly amount on the car, then be a complete tight wad on food shopping etc! What kind of rebuild ya planning? are you going low comp for future mods or just a straight forward rebuild (whatever that is!)
-
Welcome to Corrado ownership!!! Sounds like you have sorted a couple of the common probs, what mileage has your rado done???? Would get the tracking and camber checked though, although I would advise against giving it to a garage, IMHO apart from a simple service they alway seems to mess up your motor!
-
Hey dude! Am contemplating rebuilding by 9a lump as well, the list of mods/tweaks is endless!!!! Thing is you can always justify it, as in the back of your mind your thinking you may as well do it will the engine is out!!!

Had a question regarding turbo oil feeds. There are a couple of places to take the oil feed for the turbo. Back of the head being ideal for low pressure, or using the filter housing for higher pressure. I know with some turbos there are limits to the pressure, i.e. bearing run turbos. My Qs is there are definitive list as to whcih turbo needs which feed? Am I correct in assuming Garret turbos have bearings and need low pressure as opposed tot he KKK turbo which runs on fluid (oil) and therefore can cope with higher pressure. Thanks

Bummer dude! Almost as much hassle as the valver!!!

Wish I could take credit! 2 local lads have done it, The 2 Andy's, You may have seen his buggy at york "The Andy Climax" I can highly recommend them! The install looks better than many I've seen from Dubsport or JBS, plus it uses all VW management!!! LOL  To use vidall sasoon analogy "it just stepped out the saloon", it "looks liked it just rolled out the factory like that !" Well done to the 2 Andys then! -
For water there are 2 temp senders there are 2, one for the dash and one for the ECU, as far as I know. If this is the case I would guess the new sender is faulty? or the wrong par tnumber. As for fan switch, I would replace the fan switch, it is cheap to do so. When I replaced the coolant I used, de-ionised water and G12+, also there are varying guidances to mixtures - see bottle for details! As for hoses, I never realised my smaller hose was split untill I took the rad out, was told the average lif of a vag hose was 10 years.

 8) Stonking work dude!!! -
When you flushed the system, was there any crap in the system. Did the pipes have any kind of build up??? Mine runs at oil 102, water 75. When I flushed mine all pipe work was clean, also I replaced using a VW rad. Also worth checking all smaller hoses arround waterpump for old age, the tappered one that runs from the water pump on mine was ruptured. Also check all hoses are tight.

LOL, off the clock.....more like round the clock!!!
-
love the exhaust, don't suppose you got any underneath pics??
-
there was powdery finish on evrything indside, still not got round to cleaning it properly, what was really annoying was the amount of overspray all over the car.
