Hey, Scanned my Corrado VR6 1994 today with vagcom and got the following codes. Can ayone please give me any info as to what they mean and how to sort them. Have cleared them and they came back. 3 Faults Found: 00533 - Idle Speed Regulation 10-10 - Adaptation Limit Not Reached - Intermittent 00522 - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (G62) 29-10 - Short to Ground - Intermittent 00513 - Engine Speed Sensor (G28) 03-00 - No Signal I no the G28 will be due to the fact the engine was off when scanned but looking for info on the other two. Cheers in advance, Andy

Hey, very interested in this as my corrado that i have just bought has the same problem. Once again i have changed the filtrs, plugs etc and its still the same!! Startng to think it maybe something like a slightly blocked injector?? Not letting enough pterol into the engine when the fuel pump primes?? Cheers, Andy

right. No errors with vagcom. Changed fuel filter, oil and filter and plugs and still the same problem. If you turn it over then stop after about 3secs and do it again it will start or if you give it some gas the first time you turn it over it will start (pedal needs to be nearly right on the floor) Any other ideas?? Cheers, Andy

cheers for the response. Other problems are mainly cosmetic and bits like the fan belt tensioner is away. Will scan with vagcom tomorrow and see whats showing. Thanks, Andy

Hey, Bought a corrado VR6 today. Has 115k on it and FSH. Couple of wee problems with it one being it wont start without you giving it some gas. Any ideas what this may be?? Thanks for any help in advance guys, Andy

thanks for the replys guys. From what iv heard, it looks like its either the sensors or possibly the fact that the matrix went recently so may have caused water damage?? I have vagcom for my MK4 GTi and have the adapter for non OBD2 cars so will stick it on and see. Cheers, Andy

fraz got his car fixed today. The coil pack was knackered so got replaced also the accelerator cable, ignition base switch n the rear wheel bearings so its all gd now :-)

from experience, i would say (without having a look at the car) that it could be your air flow meter. Sounds like there is too much air getting into the engine and therefore, it is burning a lot of fuel to try and compensate for this.
