nope itl be fine and is probably your best bet! Other options would be cigarete ligther, ignition switch etc Andy -
really meant to see a payslip etc to prove your in the trade but the manager can also use thier discretion so its worth a try. we have trade budgets as well so i dont think twice about signing anyone up tbh! Andy

hey ye itl prob b mid september before its back down in price...if u have a trade card its still £99.99 tho!! As for staff, you get good and bad people yea, at the end of the day, there employed as sales staff, not mechanics, most of them employed should have at least an interest in cars tho! The lassies are employed as cashiers usually so again, as long as they are inteligent enough to work the tills etc, thats all thats expected of them.

Socket set went back up in price last Tuesday and was replaced on promotion by the 120pc!! This promotion will last about 2months, not sure exactly when it changes but will check tomorrow for you Andy

GSF do two sensors, a cheap and a dear one. Dear about £25 cheap £11!!! They seem to always quote the dear one tho! Andy

Had a busy day today... replaced Coolant and expansion tank Rebuilt thermostat housing with all new bolts and seals Fitted Miltek exhaust Changed all filters and oil Camshaft position sensor Plugs And finally got round to giving it a clean! Has just been taxed so wil MOT her then she's going up for sale as its costing too much to run wit hthe miles im doing :( Andy

car looks mint mate!! Im the guy with the green VR at Halfords...did have a black one up til a month ago! Its off the road now for majour service, new miltek, thermostat housing, rocker cover gasket etc etc but will be driving it again start of next week!!! Need to get a look at yours sometime, looks really tidy! Andy

Hey, bought another corrado vr6 so thought i best stick some pix up. Not cleaned or polished yet but they are on the cards!! Only got 83K on it, totally standard down to the exhaust bar the wheels. Plans are: Milltek which is ordered Couple of new tyres Just been taxed MOT it Full service and that should be it in tip top condition!! Cheers, Andy

hey iv txt u this morning.... Im 100% sure the MOT was in the front polly pocket of the folder..im sure as i remember folding it and putting it in just before you took it away, it was slightly dirty round the enges of it!! You can double checked the car is MOT'd online...you will need the number of the V5 if its came through yet but i can guarentee you it was MOT'd! If the MOT doesnt turn up, you can obtain a copy at any MOT station, again need the V5 tho! Cheers, Andy

So, i sold my Corrado VR6 last tuesday and today....ibought another one!! Needed somehting more economical but after selling up i could decide what to buy so iv bought another! Its a 1993 L plate, 83k, dark green in colour and is immaculate! Totally standard bar a set of alloys that will be getting changed! Anyhoo, il post some pix up once i pick it up tomorrow and give it a wee clean not that it actually needs one Cheers, Andy

nope not tried that...is that how its meant to be installed??? so fit the motor, tilt the sunroof, remove the motor and use the switch to set the motor so its as if the sunroof is tilted then install?? Cheers, Andy

Sprayed my new wing...looks good so just need to wait a few days then polish it up and fit it, sorted out some wee bits n bobs on the car and fitted a new sunroof motor :) Cars finaly getting there lol Andy

Hey, my sunroof tilts fine but when sliding, itl open about 5mm then cut out, your press the button, another 5mm etc....same when closing!! it does the same when the motors off so its not overloading...must be the limiter!! Anyone got any ide ahow to set these?? Cheers, Andy

nope i still have mine....thinking of a storm but realllyyyyy should get something new (A3, golf)!!!! Ye the bodyworks not too bad as it is, hes getting it done for £1.5K i believe....knows or is related to the bodyshops owner? so not too bad Cheers again Andy

ye was thinking it would be worth about £4.5K....the guy has taken good care of it...not too sure on the parts that have been replaced and how comprehensive the history is but shall have a look and see. Cheers, Andy

Hey, Had a guy in work today with his corrado vr6 storn, 1995, mystic blue. Hes getting it pretty much resprayed (parts bare metal in Porsche bodyshop) then hes selling it. Its got 140K on it, FSH, had chains etc done at 105k. Leather in prety good nick, body will be pretty much perfect. Any idea of a rough value of this?? Obviously its hard to comment on without pics or seeing the actual car but a rough indication would be great! Cheers, Andy
