Problem is that it’s not roadworthy and therefore needs trailered away. Not cheap if you have to hire a trailer or arrange a transport agent, then ferry costs. Looks a nice car I’m sure those seats are American spec SLC seats. GLWS

I'm actually looking for a Cayman just now and have heard all the horror stories too. Its all relative !! I`m hoping to get a proper warranty with it so should be safe enough

Looks good mate,really love the Nothelles.One of the reasons I moved on from Corrado ownership was I looked for more than a year for a proper set and couldn't find them anywhere.However seeing yours makes me look at maybe dipping my toe back into ownership!!!!

Saw a M plate VR6 on M8 heading towards the Airport about 1630hrs on Thursday 20/02/2014 Was dark colour possibly black or dark blue. Was nice to see one on the road haven't seen a Corrado in ages !!!!!!

Cool old girl and worth the saving for retro rarity value if nothing else. I love those wheels and searched for ages trying to get them for a number of Vw`s over the years but never managed it!!! Personally I don't like them in satin black they seem to lose the detail( it might just be the angle in the pic) Silver would be my first choice. Keep up the good work

After some serious consideration it looks like I`m going to stick with modern machinery. I`ve decided I just can`t be bothered faffing about with old cars anymore.It probably comes to us all sooner or later,I think I was looking at the Forum through rose coloured specs !!I will still pop by every now and then to see whats new and I`ve still got a pile of Corrado parts up in the loft that I could do with clearing out! Not been around here for a long time, well since I sold my last Corrado really!! For some mad reason I find myself drawn to Corrado ownership once again.(I honestly don`t know why!!) I have owned various versions over the years Storms (both colours) VR6`s G60s but no valvers!! I currently own an M3 a Scirocco a Seat Ibiza TDI, Mini Cooper S (the real supercharged one!) Why I want a Corrado I can`t explain!!!!My wife will got absolutely MENTAL!!! Now can anyone explain why I want an old car or rationalise why they own/drive a Corrado:bonk:

Get the 2.0tsi Scirocco particularly in a decent colour ....not white. A decent remap takes you up to Scirocco R power levels. Save the cash and get a set of BBS wheels on it and I becomes a street sleeper. A5 is just a boring bus!

Shiply a company where you put your transport request on and various small/large companies come back with prices. I`ve used the system a few times and always with great success.Worth a try!!
