too hot

I thought the Toyos were too soft and wore quite quickly,I got them from Motorsport wheels in Glasgow (0141-643-3900).They give club discount,two Toyo Proxes T1-S 205x50x15 for the VR6 for £91 incl Vat,gotta be cheap. I am now using BF Goodrich on my 17`s and they seem to be really good wear wise and both wet and dry grip is excellent. 8)

julesz,Yeah there is no difference fitting wise between the later and earlier style bonnets,take yours off and bolt on the new one easy.So long as you can find one the right colour. 8)

G60Jet, As you say don`t know if there would be much difference,probably just a big stealers con to try to convince us that they are completely different parts.I`ll see how it goes this week and if it still no better I`ll go up and see JoeM,might not be too good an idea for him to see a Corrado running at this time :(

Joe M, ihad a look at it today and cleaned it out,don`t know if it has cured the problem.Will take it out for a good blast on Sunday and see what happens.The part number on mine is 034 133 455b,which would seem to be very close to yours.I don`t know if the first three numbers relate to model designation.It would certainly be worth a try,as you`re not a million miles away. :) 8)

leew, Yeah mate it looks a winner but I`m biased it`s the same colour as mine.Its even got the same wheels as mine Borbet c,it looks as if its lowered a fair bit any idea what kind of suspension its running.I got a late model grill the three bar style,you can have it for a tenner plus postage if you sell the ottenger one .All the best with the new car.

I remember this car from years ago when it was painted Audi RS blue,had Azev wheels,a black rear spoiler 8) and calibra sill skirts.It was 4wd and still looked awesome.I think at that time this was just a "hobby" for Jeroen and not his business.Now the car is obviously as Adam says a showcase for his work and the business.As with all these tuning firms they show what can be done as ultimates when money is no object.The car itself is not a daily driver can`t imagine Jeroen taking it down Sainsburys for the shopping :!: I think it looks really good and could easily be described as a masterpiece :!: Respect is due 8) 8)

Started to have problems with the car rcently dunno if any of you guys have any ideas. The car has started to occaisionally cut out at junctions for no apparent reason.It re-starts without any bother but sometimes when it starts it has a very blocked or choked feel to it and it will not pull properly,this normally goes away after a few minutes coaxing or light revving,if you let the revs drop it dies straight away. Could this be the ISV I have heard they sometimes go or require cleaning. How do you clean it out and what do you clean it with? Is the same ISV used on G60 Corrados or VR6 golfs? Any ideas?

Sorry to disappoint all you G60 nutters I would have to go for a supercharger for the VR6 and nitrous(just for a laugh :lol: ).How cool would that be? 8)

G60Jet, I did try the car both with and without the radio fitted, I have tried replacing the dash spoiler control unit( I`ve now got three if anyone needs a replacement) without success.I think I`ll try checking the rest of the wiring.I don`t see how removing a wire from the ISO block is likely to get it working as the wire is there from standard and shouldn`t effect the spoiler without a radio connected. :?: :?: :?

G60Jet, Andi, Hi, took the old radio out over the weekend,it was fitted using the standard ISO connector,none of the original wiring had been touched.The spoiler does not work with the stereo either fitted or not.I wonder if changing the motor would help :?: I read on one of the US sites about a guy having this problem and the motor was strong enough to raise and lower the spoiler using the switch but not automatically whilst driving :? Seems strange,possibly only in America :!: Any ideas or should I just buy a manual :!: 8)

julesz, Do you mean the passenger side does not seat properly as it is just now or with the Lupo kit.The passenger side on mine seems to skid across the windsreen just now particularly on the downward stroke.I wonder what the big difference with the Lupo wipers is. What makes them work so well. I use Rain -x too and as you say it only really works at speed. :? :? 8)
