  1. Again, only difference in these disks are that they have an extra stud hole. So the rear 16v callipers should fit, iirc these are the same part as the 8v, g60 and vr.
  2. Same rear hubs on both, only differnce is the extra threaded stud hole
  3. Trying to find some external torx bolts in stainless or maybe chromed. All I can find are mild steel versions or zinc etc Need them for rebuilding my replica splits. After M8 size and the shorter the better Anyone know where I can get some??
  4. This is currently work in progress but thought I would show what I've been trying out. Plenty of space under the reflector of the headlamps to put some LED's. But I need to diffuse the light a little I think. Standard vs Modified
  5. but he has r32 clocks, so only half the question can be answered. will pm him
  6. i was going to buy mounts for the gearbox, and have bespoke driveshafts made up. I was also going to leave the rear output unconnected untill i get round to the 4wd conversion. anyone have any idea if the sensor from a vr can be fitted to the r32 box? I would rather have the r32 box for ratios, 4wd and better fit.
  7. how come the vr6 gearbox has to be used, cant the manual box be used? I was planning on going 6 speed r32 manual but nwo Im not sure
  8. just to update my problem, turned out that the bolts that hold the rack to the subframe hadnt been torqued up fully. not the steering is pin sharp yey!!
  9. Ye i know, but I'm a little bit of a perfectionist and would like everything to work. Even though my mpg doesnt work on my rado at teh mo' lol
  10. sorry should have said, while using the original corrado clocks.
  11. does that mean that the engine loom can be plugged straight into the fuse box? if so this is good value and may send the loom and ecm to hav all the work done in one go. anyone managed to get the mpg guage to work on a r32?
  12. Heard about these off a friend. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rear-Car-Parking- ... 240%3A1318 sorry dont know how to shorten the link. But after reversing into something solid, I thought it prudent to fit something esp with the lack of rear vision of a corrado. anyone got any feedback on these sensors?
  13. he said that they were tight, but i guesse not enough spare material to make a thread. when i do do the work ill post some more info and poss' some pictures
  14. from what i can make out, the hole left by the orignal bolts are larger than the bbs bolts outer diameter. Im happy though, will finally get my wheels back up to standard :D
  15. yeah, was planning on going stainless. Just found out from ICY on E38 that the bolts on these wheels are soft and are easy to pull out, so I'm going to order some decent bolts, (maybe bbs ones) cut them down and fit them as replacements. Only thing is from the message off ICY is that he used silicon to hold the bolts head on, I dont want to do that and may try and tap the holes. This may mean I cant use the bbs bolts due to the thread not going all the way to the head.
  16. thanks guys, will chase some of these people up and see what can be done. like ive said before the wheels are great for their price just for some reason they used crappy chrome on the bolts. once the bolts get replaced ill keep these for a while until i can find some rare real splities :D
  17. the rims are in excellent condition still its just the bolts, I clean and wax them every week but I do use my car as a daily and stored on the drive so maybe that doesnt help. how can i get the old bolts out? they pull out or unscrew. anybody got a link to the e38 post about changing the bolts. this is pretty much what i was going to do.
  18. thanks Pete, I will go two lambdas then and get the rear two deleted. Ill get the ecu modified to suite when getting the immob deleted. Ive started to get the parts together now, nothing big like engine etc but just the small things that will hopefully get the build to go smoothly. I hope to start in April when I get my bonus from work. Anyone local to Peterborough done this conversion?
  19. would like to, but got mine off kev and he got them off the group buy on here. anyone got the link to the group buy?
  20. Decided to go standard ECU, if needed I will go aftermarket once i start going big power. Next question, Ive heard audi 3.2 engines fit better into a corrado, I guesse this is due to the exhaust. Any one know if this is true? Or would I still need a manifold making up. Any one know of manifolds that allow for this conversion with 4wd prop shaft? Do all 4 lambdas still need to be fitted? how are people doing this?
  21. right, the fake bolts are corroding very badly now. does anyone know of the best way to fix this? Ideally I would like to removed these bolts and fit stainless ones, but not sure if this is possible. Anyone tried to remove these bolts?
  22. you get anywhere? i have replaced the clocks, and checked the wires(to the best of my ability) and also changed the ecm. but still no luck
  23. iirc the speedo and rev counter can easily be swapped, hard thing is to get the dials made up.
  24. Yey, got home today and had the card waiting. Thank god my mail redirecty sent it to my new address. off to update CCGB details now. thanks guys and merry crimbo
