Sunroof doesnt slide so im gonna either fix it or put a glass passat sunroof in. how do i get my sunroof out? also which passat should i get the glass sunroof off? thanks

ye i thought that. but as you say its gonna be very hard to fit it all in. is there anyone out there with a broken fob they could send me just to practice on. if i succeed i will post a diy on here

I really want a flip key to get into my car but i also want to use the buttons to arm and disarm my alarm. is it possible to do this so the flip key from a late car can work on my toad ai606 alarm? I know its pretty unlikely but im just trying to find out. thanks

I found out my drivshaft is loose, near the wheel, i was wondering if this is due to the cv joint? if so should i get a vag version and how much are they. would pref to get third party version but i want the car to last. if its not the cv joint what could it be. and how hard are they to change? im pretty good with spanner just never done a cv joint thanks

using the passengers side door it opens that door and the boot so i guesse the cl is working ok. I checked behind the door card and couldnt see any wires disconnected. Isnt the drivers side dor electrically operated if so im wondering if the main switch wire is broke to the cl pump. which wire is this? any help would be great

nothing else opens unless i use the passengers side door to unlock. this door opens the boot

I opened the drivers side door and it didnt open the passengers side. Was working fine just before this. Is this a loose wire possibly or actual problem with the mechanism.

right turns out its coming from the driveshaft. i stuck my hand under the car and rocked the drive shaft and it seemed real loose at the bottom (near wheel) is this the cv joint? if so how much are these these days and how hard is it to change. Im relatively good at mechanics (changed cylinder head etc) but never done a cv joint

had a quick look under car, exshaust seems to not be knocking anywhere. Joints look solid and wheel doesnt rock. Damper is leaking slightly. Im wondering if the driveshaft splines have worn slightly? could this be a possible cause for the noise. noise seems to almost come from footwell area. It seems to only happen randomly, not when anything is turned on or even if i hit a bump.

not the seat belt as ive had people in the car belted up. it seems to be from the front. its hard to explain the sound. Its loud enough to hear while driving and i can feel it slightly through the footwell, on the drivers side. sorry i havent put much info. i havent really looked at the car properly since its turned up. will look today hopefully

how much are the coolers roughly and how are they changed.

My door locks dont match my ignition barrel. Can they be fixed/adjusted so they match. I know this can be done on mk1/2 handles thanks

not sure if this is an interior problem or mechanicle but i hear knockin every so often, it doesnt seem to happen at any regular interval. just random is there something loose possibly?

I have an oil temp of about 110 on motorway driving. is this normal? if not how can i fix it? thanks

Ive just got myself a corrado. I alos have a mk2 golf 16v which has lowered suspension, g60 brakes. Aloys. Full ss scorpion exshaust Just wondering if all these can be swapped over? cheers
