    Headlights

Hello, A while ago I was told about a loom kit that someone on the forum made for the crappy headlights, I emailed him but no reply or luck. Does anyone have a working wiring diagram that me and my mate can throw together for the car ourselves? Cheers muchas :cyclops2:

    Wiper Blades

Hello I just thought I would share a tip with you guys with regards to the crap wiper blades on the Corrado. I was out with the misses shopping other day, kicking and screaming and wining as usual, much to my surprise when I was in Wilkinsons (yes that cheap tat shop) I saw wiper blades in the car accesories section. I picked up one and read on the back, found the list supported corrados 1988 onwards. At £1.25 per wiper It was almost laughable but as mine were knackered anyway I bought an entire set for £3.75... cant go wrong? :notworthy: The fantastic part is I inspected the fit, which is perfect, and its slightly deeper so causes the spring to push a bit harder on the wiper. They work a treat! I havent had the usual skating over the rain at motorway speeds etc... :thumb right: Give them a try you wont be dissapointed at the price of a pint and a packet of crisp!
  18. Hi the mobile phone theory may work i'll turn it off when I next drive? But the speed sensor sounds more likely thanks i'll check that out!
  19. Oh and merry Xmas everone! :drinking:
  20. Hi Ive owned my G60 7 years, A few years ago very occasionally on a long drive the needle on the speedo would go past 80mph to 100+ I never took much notice as it was very rare, but now it does it a bit more frequently and it almost appears to be copying the rev counter :agrue: I know my way round cars so im assuming this has to be electrical interference or maybe an earth problem as if it was the cable surely it would of snapped by now? So if anyone has had this let me know Im eager to fix the annoying problem! Cheers
  21. Mate my standard G60 (cept for the zorst and pulley) wheelspins in the wet all the time, and in the dry its ok but occasionally you will get a tyre break away on hard turning and accelleration. But was undriveable when I had the standard alloys! Im running 17 x 205s made Soo much difference much more sturdy positive and corners like batmans car (not in the wet!) lol. What size tyres are you running?
  22. It appears to be that I need to get the crank face reworked, can this be done in the car or do I need to drop it out the engine for regrinding and balancing? How much will this be?
  23. Probably replacing both calipers would be a good start. when you adjusted the handbrake adjuster was the plate with the two cable ends at an angle? If you havent got a manual ill talk you through doing this if you PM me. Halfords do lucus brand swaps on the old ones I think. These calipers are prone to going, Ive heard of people using the golf M1 GTI ones as they are a lot better design.
  24. zacon, your caliper cams are shot mate, they will operate on the cam levers if you watch them, but if you dissemble the caliper you will find the piston wont travel far when the cam operates. The hydraulics however will be fine.
