yeah, i know it`s easy, i`ve done a bit of it mtself over the years......... just wanted to give the fella a break and he dont live that far away from me

i`d be tempted to lead fill the roof seams mate, the heat will be lower and you wouldnt get the cracks that you would get if you used filler, your panel beater mate is right to be cautious about welding up the roof, if you distort that panel then you may never get it straight again !!!

only little stuff but i`ve got a few items that require a coat of paint, i`ve a grille and eyebrow, a couple of door mirrors etc etc ........ something to earn a few bob on and if you really feel your up to it then i can sort you something larger ?

what i`m suggesting is that i could pick them up at the weekend as i`m going to be in ramsgate working and could come back via the coast road, then next week i`m off to scotland and i`ll be going up on the m6 so i could drop them off at a pre arranged meet just off the motorway, might be handy if you wanted to save a few bob ?

that centre cap is standard fitment on most comp wheels kev, i`ve been looking for something a bit flatter to mount a vw badge on and tie it all in, those brakes look the part mate :thumbleft: a good choice of wheel with that brake set up 8)

billinjah, looking forward to `corsa` baiting in the early hours of the morning with this little baby, if you travel about late on a friday or sat night around my way you get all the `boys` out looking to race you and there is nothing better than watching some chav disappear rapidly in your rear view 8)

hello markievw, i was ( but not now ) considering doing this to my vr at some stage, i was swayed at the cost of lpg at 39p a litre, if you speak to walesy he will be able to fill you in a bit on lpg vehicles having spent sometime driving about in one, should be a good move the way fuel keeps going up and up :thumbleft:

it may be a little while before i can get `the beast` out of my workshop which is a shame, i`m trying real hard to find the time to do the jobs that need doing but seem to end up either having to work my ar*e off doing all sorts of installations in rail yards or out there trying to pull more work in ....... it`s not always that much fun being your own boss but i`m endevouring to get my vr to a few meets before the year is out so i hope i`ll see you at one mate
