Possible winner for funniest read of the month
gaz the geezer replied to randal's topic in General Car Chat
QUOTE The rear seat thing, It is rare that I fold them down, but it has to be said that when folded they remove a bit of weight. Vertical seats exert more downward force because the energy is focused on a smaller surface area. When horizontal, the weight is spread and so is less per Centimetre squared. QUOTE  what a total t*sser , sounds like a right old `roy cropper` with his satchell way up high ........ :cuckoo: -

cheers to mr riley for the dash and carpet, top bloke !! -

-
better the devil you know ? lifes full of `what if`s`, i think you made a good decision so i wouldnt dwell on it too much fella, i would have probaly done the same myself as i`m quite attached to my old car
-
................ is this a taster to gauge people`s opinions before your new corrado paint job hits the streets mr walesy ???? lol
-
it was on my mind to give john a bell myself as my exhaust is looking a bit worse for wear, i`ve been trying to clean and patch up the old one but i`m asking myself if it`s worth it ............ and i was trying not to spend any more as well, bloody car !!!

-
i`ve not seen that interior before, 8) , liking it tho
-
stop it, yer giving me car a complex :)
-
the check strap on my vr dissappears into the door rather than dissappearing into the bodywork, the painted bit is the anchor on the A post :thumbleft:
-
sorry for the delay, got caught on the phone then just forgot !! you may well have a certain amount of ovality due to wear in the painted part / checkstrap, i`d remove the bolt and check it out VRTrickster, i quess the only answer if it`s badly worn is to go up a bolt size, an angle drill should be able to get in the door shut to redrill the hole `round` again if need be
-
.......... i find it so amusing i cant help but laugh out loud ( to the dissapproval of my 14yr old daughter ..... apparently i`m sad ? ), compulsive watching in the geezer household ...like it or lump it
