been having a play in the garage at lunch time today... managed to pick up a loom and plug from VW this morning. looks nicer than the suggested female spade connectors that the wiki suggests. managed to get three of the wires connected so I have volts and illumination at the moment.... looks like my battery is rather dead :) pressure I guess is reading max as I've not connected up the new sender yet. i've only managed to take the headlight and grill out and feed a bit of string through to the engine bay which I will attach the wire to tomorrow. sadly now run out of time for the day.

It does... It has a go faster badge, coloured grill and a different set of rims. Those very rare rims that were supplied with many golf mk3

Saw they were 67 quid but had to sign in to see if that was posted. Gone up a bit bought a set from the dealers a few years ago for 45 notes.

How much were the mats posted ...

Assume no problems with it coming off. The top right of the peddle is shamfered so doesn't sit smug in the rubber.
-
Bought a few other bits recently. New number plate light as my Perspex had gone yellow. Dual pole sender for the guage., wheel nut covers and new set of pedal rubbers even accelerator of a mk2 golf, will see how it looks and feels.

Ello... Sounds nice... See my note on headlight switch on the breaking advert you replied to.

Don't buy a headlight switch of a scrap car, if you do you need to put an inline fuse in the loom... Loads have caught fire this way. The ideal solution is to buy one from the group buy which Matt sells they are identical but with an led and safer.. Either contact him here or I think he sells them on eBay. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?85919-2014-Headlight-Switch-Group-Buy-Now-Arrived!&highlight=Headlight+switch Matts eBay advert http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-Volkswagen-Corrado-Headlight-Switch-all-models-/222111437076?fits=Model%3ACorrado&hash=item33b6df9114:g:ndgAAOSwY45UQV24

-
Thanks got a part number for the loom plug now, need to track one down.

Had a set of these sitting in my desk for a year or so.. Time to fit them I guess, I have a dual pole sender now. But no other bits... I see there is a wiki on fitting but I've been having a planning session and was wondering if anyone had any tips on fitting before I delve too deep. Was thinking about taking headlight out to fit sender. What grade wire and how many metres, what colour

I'm with you on this Sean... Only think I don't like is a beige interior. -
Shame.. They need educating. I'm lucky enough to have half of my parents double garage for some of my junk. I don't even live their :)

Bit confused do you have end cap trims yet ?
-
I favour the stab with the screwdriver method.

What car is it ? If it's a vr6 you just need a huge socket and extension and Allen key. Can't remember size but 32 or 36 mm rings a bell. If it's a 16 v I guess you need a chain to remove the filter.
