Hey Dubboy I have very similar symptoms to the above: Mine races down to a quarter of a tank then sits there for around 100 miles then dives to below the red mark. I also never see more the 22mpg on mine so I reckon there is something wrong but I'm used to it now and just reset the trip computer every time I fill up then I know roughly where I should be. L8trs

Good luck 8) Mnid and post some pics when you get them and the metal boost pipes done SWEET!!! : :)

They are the biggest ones and most noticeable apart from the one that goes into the cooler (which is still in the boot as I think you need to take the bumper off) I do agree think they would look good with the steel pipes Did you spot the ones that you couldn’t ID? There are a good few that go under the charger that you can't see. I have some pics if you need them (from under the engine). I also have a pic of my mates 2.0 litre golf (no charger same block etc) so you can get a better idea of where they should go. I will need to check that they came out. I can post them if you wish. I'm sure some of the guys at the club have the above fitted. Although I belive you can buy the parts for a tenner and DIY it. Dont ask me how Ive had it explained to me but wouldnt want to say as it was a while ago HTH

I know one of the guys from the club who has one on his 16v C. So I would guess they are OK to use. I have heard mixed reports on them. A friend with a civic said it made so much noise on idle that he had to take it off. Cheapest place to buy I remember is direct. But dont quote me on that I was thinking about getting one a while back. http://www.ecotekplc.com/ HTH

My Job title is Senior Systems Engineer and I don’t really know how it relates to my job. I'm part of a team responsible for the IT infrastructure at http://www.ds-s.com. At the Derby site out of the three guys down there two have C's so it looks like a lot of owners are in IT No wonder when you say IT your insurance goes up  Oh and this is my 100th post so I get a star

Let me know how you get on I really fancy a boost gauge but don’t know where to put it. I have the oil and battery at the moment so that spots gone. Was thinking about taking out the air vent to the left above the stereo and putting in a blanking plate with the gauge. Not sure how difficult this would be in terms of the ducting for the air flow etc etc. Some pics would be cool when you get them in. Cheers
