Try here http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk http://www.auto-amd.com/samcohoses.asp We done a group buy last year and it took ages and I dont know how many people will stock green but I have a feeling when you go for non standard colors (red\Blue) they have to order them from direct. You never know you may be in luck HTH

So aiming for a ten o'clock start then? At star P round the back on the gravel? The thread is to long to find the start time (I know lazy bob stard) -
Sandys had them done http://corrado.atx-hosting.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=446 he has the standard G60 beaks on the back and said there is no need to upgrade them as they can cope. Not sure of the split between front than back but apprently there is no need. I know Sandy should be putting out or planned to have 220 break hence the breaks. And you can move them to your next car. Only certain Alloys can take them as well.

Dam that is good going an hour from the showcase takes me an hour to get to livingston with the road works from the west end. Must have a look see if I'm hitting the right pedal. Which one is for the breaks   Sunday traffic and it should be a little less maybe even time for a McDonalds at the bridge  -
I use Zymol on mine and its sweet as a nut. http://www.zymol.com/ There are different types of polishes pre wax etc but I guess you would need to use the right stuff. You also need to have the polishing cloth as it is the only thing that brings it off. I tried with a t shirt\towel\glass cleaning towel once and it was a nightmare. There are specific polishes for metallic non metallic etc etc. The problem with most other polishes is that they are basically abrasives where as if you read and believe what it says this stuff basically feeds the paint. I would swear by it and at 100 quid for a starter kit it is worth it and I know its a hell of a lot of cash but it works. the polish alone is at lest 30 quid so not sure what you got. If you go hear there is a manufacture then colour selector to point you in the right direction http://www.scweurope.com/ Here's mine and the pic was taken a few weeks after it was waxed. http://corrado.atx-hosting.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=68 The best thing about it is the way the water beads up for weeks after. (Sorry thats pretty sad I know) Hey Joe that's a sweet finish HTH (rant over)

At this rate looks like the Edinburgh contingent will be meeting at Star P when you get there. I'll keep an eye out to see if we can co-ordinate it so everyone hits the bridge at the same time  Might have to leave ten min before everyone else to get on the rollers early. I know what roddy looks like so it may be a sprint to get your name down (if that is how it is being run) Roddy are you making a list of cars as they check in or is it a line up outside the door afair? -
Look above your post they are the cheapest to be honest its only a few quid difference between most of them. And the above dont include vat http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/catalogue ... ch&email=Y http://www.msport.co.uk/acatalog/Volksw ... leads.html

Corrado 1.8 16v (KR) - £99 - 8mm Corrado G60 - £35 - 8mm Corrado G60 - £45 - 8.5mm Corrado VR6 91-95 - £105 - 8.5mm Corrado VR6 94-98 - £95 - 8.5mm magnecour leads http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/engineparts.html These seem very cheap for the G60 (which is very strange :? ) maybe need to add VAT

there somebody on the egroup selling and it sounds very nice I have owned my G60 from new (1991) and have reached a crossroad. EITHER I sell it - is there anyone out there who wants a one owner yellow G60 with full VW service history, no modifications and 45K miles on the clock? OR I keep it and use it as a second car from time to time. The problem with this last option is that I can't seem to get any insurance for less than £700 which seems very steep. My no claims bonus is all used up on my new car. Does anyone out there know of an insurer who might be less expensive given that I am unlikely to do more than 1000 or so miles in any one year. I emailed him the link to this so he may post

Anybody tried the philips 50%+ light bulbs do they do what they say on the tin? http://www.eur.lighting.philips.com/int ... ision.html Mot has put his statement to the test in the Hella testing facilities. The result was particularly impressive for the H4 Vision Plus. Some 40 % more low-beam light on a Golf as compared to standard lamps. High-beam light was up 20 %. Certain spots that are of particular importance to the driver are even up 50 %, such as the spot 75 meters in front of the car on the right side of the road. However, these percentages may vary with the type of headlight in use.

Maybe a good idea to get a boost guage on there one that shows vac and boost this should indicate stright away if you have any leaks now and in the future. There are a few threads on on the forum as to what people recommend. Also your mechanic may have one to test its fairly simple to hook up. HTH

Who and where are Bedrock?

How much strain goes on the chain? The only reason I ask was when I had my bike the chain had to be replaced often. I know there is a slight difference as it is effectively the drive shaft. But the links do form a fair bit of movment over time. Joe are you still using Tam for your general repairs?
-
Mines are the originals and there now 13 years old (like the car) but have done few miles less than the above. Guess the non Vr's are a fair bit lighter

Have a look at http://www.pitstopdevelopments.com http://www.jabbasport.com/ Should give you a fair idea what is going on

Guy's I would say Kincardine is quicker and a much more interesting drive than the M8 (which if they have laid fresh tar takes you like three weeks to get it off, Bitter experience and still covered in the crap) which also reminds me of the road works. When heading up to the Club rr day earlier this year we went this way. We hooked up with my friend from Edinburgh in Rosyth just after the 4th rd bridge.
