ok so its been a while and i need to get her back in action for the summer.what its coming down to is the bottom end,where the piston connects to the rod it is getting warped,can anyone direct me to a good online source to purchase this.or any tips on doing this job thanks

well its not the oil pan blocking up the pump,at least all the dings are gone.i also held the rpm's a 3grand for a bit and that only made it sound better for a couple minutes. i think my oxygen sensor kicked the bucket since my a/f meter turns off after a few minutes.and im feeling like i lost some power.ohh the best part of the day was my window kept randomly deciding it wanted to roll down.its cool though . i get super nervous if theres not at least 3 problems at once with her,i feel like something really bad is going to happen.

yeah is a deffanatly more of a slap ,i posted the sounds the day after i finished replacing,they sound almost exactly the same as the old ones. hope there not the cheaper ones, i got them from techtonics tuning might have spent $250 usd but it was last summer so i cant really remember. i havent tryed holding the rpm's ill have to do that. thanks

i think it might be the oil pan,theres some small dents but it could be enough to block up the oil pick up tube.does anyone make a "upgrade" or large baffle oil pan for the vr6 corrado ?

samco? i found this place http://hosetechniques.com for smaller vacuum hoses ,but im pretty sure its in the states.you might be better off doing a google search.

how do you test injectors ? the only thing is it sounds like it could be coming from somewhere around the cyl 1 area.

i thought it was tappets its not, put new ones in and the noise is still there.the timing chain looked good oil pressure is normal.it speeds up and gets louder at higher revs. any help is appreciated. here's the mp3's i recorded(sorry about the bad quality) clicking 1 mp3 clicking 2 mp3

id unplug the bulbs in the meantime though! lol.yeah that only happened until i figued out they were stuck on,i unclip the plug if i take her out

ive been trying to figue out why my reverse lights stay on whenever my cars running.im sure it freaks people out when they pull up behind me at a stoplight. i pulled apart the black plastic selector thing on top of the tranny and gave it a good cleaning,that didnt help.im not sure where else to look.

i just fixed my horn after 3 years of it not working.the damn relay was missing,i cant help but beep that thing constantly now

techtonics is the way to go,ive heard good things about the garret chips for the slc too.

thats where i have my a/f gauge..where ashtray used to be.you really dont want that eye level i think it could blink you to insanity.

just to keep you guys updated.the dealer said around 500 usdollars.i think i could get a complete door from a breaker or ebay cheaper than that!

had some time at work yesterday ,fiddled with that for about an hour.it worked for about 1minute(almost)the bottom cable is definatey shot and its all jammed up again.going with the new mechanisim.im head to the dealer now to see how bad they will rip me off for the part.

id go with the audi handle conversion.already have enough probs to keep up with on my c

my drivers side window stopped working,pulled out the interior and found the cable really loose.i hit the switch and i can hear the control unit clicking in the rear,and feel a really small click in the motor. does any one have any drawings or pictures of the inside of the door?im having a real tough time getting in there and trying to decipher whats going on.any suggestions are appreciated
