Okay, i have searched and i have gotten some results but im still not sure how to do this, i was thinking that i should tint my tail lights (smoked i should say) ive read many posts before i put this question up, now i know to do this i need to get black transparent spray paint, i should most likely remove the tail lights from the car to do this, now my question is do i spray it on the entire like or should i leave the reverse light un smoked, well im probably gona smoke the entire thing and my second question which is my real question is can this be undone, say i spray it and i dont like it is there a way for me to remove the paint without damageing the light and if i clear coat it with laquer is that undoable, can i remove the laquer (clear coat) any suggestions, my cars that dark purple color idk the technical name, and what does it mean to cut the light iv read "im going polish and cut my lights" im currently in canada for a week so im bored. Im using this time to see what can be done to my car with my low budget, i still dont have a job lol Thanks again

  7. how about you check if your fan works at all by wiring it directly to the battery could be a bad fan

I would say check the fan wires near the fan switch, maybe from the heat, the wires got damaged and all so check the fuses, idk about the MK2 but my Vr6 has a fuse box in the hood near the expansion tank, for awhile my fan wasnt working as well ended up being some blown fuses, other wise i dont know Good luck

Hey, I searched this but i couldnt really find anything, today i was going 2 the movies witgh some friends and my car was really sluggish, it really didnt have that normal power is usullly does and it was idling really low and while accelerating it was jerking abit when the car was in gear, when it was in nutral it was fine, on the way home it was still acting up, and then i stopped off to get some food and when i came back to the car and starting driving it was fine, i want to get this problem fixed if it is a problem before my car goes in for some detailing 2 morrow, im getting the driver side door fixed, some jack ass to a crow bar to the door to try and steal my car, luckly the alarm went off and my car was saved couldnt save the door handle tho lol, my hood i accidently ran a water hose ontop and scratched the hood and side fender, lol i didnt know it happend and a good buffing aswell, i dont know what was up with the car, please help, and i have replace the fuel filter, cleaned the isv and removed that little black box and i have also cleaned the intake and filter, any ideas???? Thanks alot (im going 2 canada 2 morrow so i wont be able to drive it and maybe not be able to post, so Good bye till a week from now lol) -imran
  11. yes sir, yesterday my ignition switch got delivered and i had already taken the entire steering wheel, turnsignal swicthes and knee brace all thats stuff and i was able to put it in as soon as i got it, and it only took me about 5-7 min 2 put it all back together, the screw behind the switch was a pain 2 take out tho lol, but i did it Thanks again

  13. would that be safe and how would that work, you would continuous boost from the super and the turbo giving you that extra boost after that, how much BHP would that give you??

  15. excellent sounds good and one more thing is it bad that one of my fans doesnt work, for some reason a while back the aux fan broke and was causing the fuse to blow so i cut the belt connecting to the second fan so it wouldnt blow the fuse, right now i only have one fan that works, is that bad and the fan doesnt come on when the car is off, if the fan is on and i pull out the key it shuts off any ideas, thanks with air lock problem, will do what you said first thing in th morning
  16. Sounds good and when you say top up should i fill it all the way up or should i fill it till the max line on the expansion tank?? if the air doesnt come out is another way to get it out?

The heater was working before, i filled from the main tank, y are you not supposed to do that, i just remembered that my dad audi had a similar problem with there been air stuck in the system, iremeber he left the tank cap off and let the air bubble out, is that how your supposed to do it on a Corrado aswell, i was reading that there is some valve you open but im not sure, if you dont mind can you explain to me how u release the air out of the system and air lock sounds so bad, when i think of the word air lock it reminds me of hydro lock Thanks for your help
  18. up to the max line well a bit more some went in accidently, and one more thing theres no hot air in the heater, whats an air lock is it serious, AHHH i hope not

Hey New problem arose today, why is it when i fix somthing, somthing else goes wrong, Today, i changed the plugs (that plastic tool worked well), i successfully changed the ignition switch (bloody screw took me a good 30 mins to take out, lol couldnt find the right screw driver) and i replace the Rad fan switch (fan comes on at 85 C now) and i flushed the coolant system out and put new coolant in, now the dam car seems to be over heating, The light all the way on the left near the speedometer is flashing and the needle is registering above 230F but the weird thing is the LCD display (trip computer)is showing close to 280F + wtf is wrong, Fan comes on at 85 (at least thats what it says on the trip comp, which is weird cuz the other temp is reading 280 plus) and stays on until it gets below it, theres fresh coolant in the system, the thermostat seems to be working because i drained the system through the Rad fan switch opening. The other strange thing is that as soon as the car starts in less than a min the light comes on and the needle begins to rise, idk, i hope its not serious. I was so happy that i changed the ignition switch, plugs and rad switch and now this WTF Please help Imran
  20. I would like to thank everyone who helped me with my ignition switch problem, i just fixed it (my first semi big repair job) Thanks (VR6 i didnt create a new post, iv learned lol)
