Hi guys and gals, i just realised how rude i have been using this forum for over a month now without introducing myself properly. :nono: So here goes, i curently have a mk4 golf 1.6 which i am looknig to chop in for a corrado 2.0 16v, which is waiting in the wings.... I have had 2 golfs (mk3 and 4) and now want to move onto something a bit special and sportier in the vw garage...... and i think the c will be just right. i have to say though i have used forums for my golfs and none of them are as close as you guys and nowhere near as full of useful information...... I am going into my last year at uni so am a bit strapped for cash so the 2.0 16v should be a good starting point i hope.... (quick question is a well looked after c going to be reliable mechanically or not?) I just wanted to say hi and someone please buy my golf so i can get on the c ladder........... Cheers :compress:

I have used Hines vw specialist in Ferndown for both my golfs and they have been pretty reasonable on price.......... i bought one of my golfs fom the guy........ it was a geat litle runner!!!!! :confused4: not that you care!!!

bv-vr6 i know what you mean....... those online quotes are crap..... there are so many little extras they leave out (especially with elephant),,,,,,,,, i guess they are good as a guide... but they just annoy me..... also th whole postcode lottery..... we could go on all day....... my idea is, rather than our premiums going down a tiny bit each year, just give back 75% of the initial fee if you make no claims in that year..... seems fair.........

My experiences have been that neally all the girls i know love a man in a golf (and even better if it's a GTi) - (pretty much any cool vw). :scratch: !!!They might just be humoring me though!!! :scratch: :puppydogeyes: But i would go for an S3 with a remap, or a MK4 V6 4motion!!!! both nice practical cars, but can also put a smile on you face........

but you are never going to find a car with the exact dimensions....... what your looking for is just a similar all round impact surely,,,,,,,,
