I took the ECU to Stealth today and Vince very kindly removed the immobilizer and installed the chip from the original ECU with all the software changes and remap on. Brought it home, fired up straight away and still revs  Spent a LONG time tidying up the inside, temporarily bolting the pedal down (without any drilling etc so the carpet is still intact ready to swap!) and securing all the front end etc as it's just been placed on. I've pulled my back somehow and so it took me fcuking ages and I felt like a fcuking 80 year old and I'm 23 :epicfail: With the front end all attached and the pedal bolted down it would have been rude not to drive the thing  So took it up and down my street a few times, couldn't take it far as it's uninsured and has no MOT :brickwall: but I opened it up a bit going down the street and it's vicious  The throttle is instant and just wants to spin the wheels! I will be saving for a diff as soon as possible me thinks ... after buying my first house though, i'm skint! :( It's not running 100% though, need to get it on VAG-COM as it's not very happy on part throttle and is quite lumpy. Not sure if it's anything I haven't got connected up right or whether it's something in the software, but most likely something I've done than something Vince has! But it was good to get the wheels turning again, the noise echoed down the whole street!!

Judging by the size of the turbo I'm guessing 600+ maybe more!! Looks awesome though, good skills! 8) -
Blimey, I forgot how much these brackets etc are. I should get my arse in gear and get shot of mine!

Mmmmmmmm R32 turbo!! :notworthy: -
They clear them no problem. And yep, no spacers needed for the back, they'd be outside the arch too much if you did!
-
I can confirm the ECU works  Immobilizer cuts the engine off though. So just need to give it to Vince to remove that, stick my original chip in and I will have a fully working ECU

I only ran 3mm spacers and I shaved a bit of the caliper carrier off, didn't have to touch the calipers themselves.

For god sake Coxy get some pics and vids up!!!! -
Well I won't get too excited yet as I might be talking complete bollox  I had my loom sorted by Vince at Stealth, I gave him the complete loom (engine and interior), he done a superb job cutting it all down to what I needed and labelling it all up etc. I have literally 99% of the wiring in the bay connected to the ECU, then I have these 4 wires and 6 pedal wires going inside. But I'm not sure off the top of my head whether that's all you need. Best bet is talking to Vince, he will tell you all you need to know :notworthy: In the mean time I will take some pics of mine and get the details for the wires that I have going in to the interior.
-
That's the same ECU I am currently running in mine (borrowed from Stealth as my 032 CD one was fooked, got a new one now though!) and it's running fine so should be exactly the same with yours. I will get more details on the wires going from my ECU to inside tonight for you, all the colours and pin numbers etc and some pics! If you have the main loom plug (large left hand side plug on the ECU) they all come off of that.
-
The offset of the wheels are ET30 front (although need spacers to clear calipers) and ET15 on the back 8)

I don't know if yours is different to mine but apart from the pedal wires (6) I have literally 4 wires going from the ECU to the interior in mine which are (again might be different on yours): - ECU Power (1 wire, mines purple/black) - needs connecting to a wire that has permanent live even when cranking, mine's taken from the ignition - MAF and Front Lambdas (2 wires) - these just need a power source so I have these connected together and spliced in to the power wire for the fuel pump. - Diagnostics (1 wire, grey/white) - splices in to the original grey wire at the diagnostics point. There are also a couple of orange wires for the diagnostics but they are for some kind of CAN-BUS controller which the car doesn't have and so are not needed. My VAG-COM works fine. And then you just have the 6 wires for the pedal (can't remember the order off my head but they are red/brown, yellow/green, white/blue, grey/blue, grey/black, brown/blue IIRC). Everything else is in the bay (apart from things like oil/water temp/pressure wires going to the clocks which I need to do). I don't know the colours off the top of my head, not sure if they are different to yours though like I said. I have it all written down at home so can tell you the exact colours of the wires and the exact plugs of the ECU they connect to!

Here's how they looked on mine once upon a time 8)

ECU arrived this morning
-
Now those wheels look rather familiar! Looks like it's going to be a nice project, should look great when it's done!
-
Yeah that was an arse twitching moment when I read that  Yep, ECU is bought!
-
Cheers mate :D

If you look above again Jon you'll see it actually says 032 .... editted :epicfail:  It is 032 I needed, I double checked the number with Vince.

Coxys R32 4 Motion Corrado - On the Road!!!!
herisites replied to CoxyLaad's topic in Members Gallery
Ian mate you should definitely stick with it, after all the time you have put in to it it would be stooooopid to get rid of it  And corrado's can be comfortable, handle well, be quiet and go like stink, you just need to have a go out in Kev's :notworthy: The V3's are sublime in his, firm but no crashing at all (even round my area where even my audi is crashy!), he's spent a lot of time de-rattling the interior and no word of a lie it's virtually silent no rattles! And goes like a fcuking rocket, stops on a button and feels totally planted! You just need to stick with it and it will be an epic car!! Kev's head won't be able to fit out the door when he reads this now  but credit where it's due his is an awesome car :salute: -
Yeah sounds better through some decent speakers, still not a patch on what it's really like though, ask Leon  It's only the pedal and the wiring for the clocks that I need to do now, I extended the aux water pump but I don't think it's come on yet  same with the fan, so maybe something not connected that controls them perhaps? Anyway yeah, hurry up and get some time off
