Washed down with a gallon or two of RedBull, if rumours are to be believed... Yep the rumours are definitely true on that one, if you open the passenger door there is an avalanche of empty red bull cans!

Coxys R32 4 Motion Corrado - On the Road!!!!
herisites replied to CoxyLaad's topic in Members Gallery
Agreed, if it's sold it has to be sold in one piece and to someone who will leave it alone or add to it in a good way as well as keep us all updated on the forum! I hope it doesn't come to that though Ian, I wanted to have a nose at this at some point! -
yeah y'miserable bastard - super noodles are lush! :D This is true!
-
Mmmmmmm creamy goodness 8)

Well I've booked it in to Stealth on friday for it's MOT and for a session on the rollers to see what its kicking out. Hopefully there's something simple wrong with it that we can fix there and then and I can have a fun drive home! I'm gunna be living on super noodles for the next few months I think :( I've spent/spending way too much money considering beginning of Nov I have house fees etc to pay! :(

That would be cooooooool Neil
-
Well mine can't be running 100% then because to me it just feels like a quick car not a fekkkkkkkkkkking rapid one  Stealth Rolling Road day anyone?
-
It's been mapped, not on the rollers mind but it's got the exact same software setup and map etc as a MK2 Vince had done before which was knocking on 280bhp and was quoted as "almost undrivable in a Mk2" so obviously my expectations were high. I do need to get it on the rollers though, need to organise a Rolling Road day there really as that would be the only way I could afford it at the min, why did I buy a house now! :brickwall:  The exhaust is all good, Dubpower 6-branch, decat and Miltek cat-back! No restrictions there 8)

not tried them yet mate, think thats what i will buy though. And the SRP is ok at correcting paintwork, i have been reading a lot about how under rated it is so thought i would give it a shot!! Agreed SRP is very underated imo, it's my fav polish. Even after using the Menzerna polishes on a machine I will always give it a once over with the SRP to fill any left over swirls etc in. What wax did you use after?

This was before we put the leather in
-
Yeah I thought that which is why I thought it would be really quick. It should be able to play with porsches but at the min I feel it would be eaten by one!
-
Yeah I was going off what you have been saying about yours tbh, and Pete's for that matter who also said his was rapid. But as Kev said, people all have a different perception of speed and I was brought up racing motorbikes so to me if it's not R1 quick it's just not quick  I'm sure its down on power though, to me it feels like a fast VR and not as quick as it felt Rotrexed and it should be about the same power. We thought the flat spot could be my manky small cone filter strangling it a bit, so we even ran it with a cut up sieve as the filter  still no difference really. I think the flat spot could possibly be my clutch letting go, it doesn't slip but I get like a high "woooo" sound if that makes sense

Here's a crappy phone pic I took in the garage for now.

Well spent some more time on the car saturday. Firstly we scanned it, and it came up no errors. Took it out for a spin and Kev seems to think that's just how quick it is, both him and Neil said it's fast but I guess I was just expecting it to be faster :( I won't know for certain how fast it is until I get it on some rollers but it looks like I might have just built up my expectations too high for the power :( I will be saving for a turbo! We also swapped the interiors finally ... what a job! We didn't realise just how much of the beige interior trim is beige etc, we started way too late really and finished at like 11pm, a few hours with light and a good few hours with just floodlights. Won't be doing that again in a hurry  Neil seemed really pleased with my interior though which I'm happy about and I am happy with how the beige is looking in mine! I took a few pics of the process and need to get some of it now complete. I will post them up soon I promise

I've had my Weitecs for coming on 3 years now. The ride is better than some coilovers I've felt but bit crashy for the roads in my area! I wish I'd gone for the TX's really. Quality wise they're good, the threads come up like new after a clean. Only problem tho is they have weaker seals than the KW's, both my fronts are slightly leakin now :( Will be saving for some V3's next as they are leagues ahead!
-
Yeah that would be great mate! :notworthy:
-
Yeah it is really, but it's because they are more efficient which is due to their roller design rather than big heavy gears like in the Vortech etc, also why they are much much quieter! I can't comment on how easy the other 2 are to fit but the Rotrex wasn't too hard to fit. Neither will be hard though, they just bolt to a bracket and then you just attach the air intake pipes and belt etc to them. The Vortech's need tapping in to the sump however so a bit more work to do there, the Rotrex has it's own oil supply with a cooler, so you just need to mount that all somewhere neatly and then don't have to worry about changing the oil for a long time!
-
Looking good Shaun! Fancy doing mine! Would be interesting to see what times it does on a strip! Not too shabby I'd imagine 8)
-
Well don't sound too excited, you're only getting a nice leather interior out of it! LOL! That's plan B you see. Chances are VAG-COM will report back something we can't fix straight away, so may aswell make use of the day and do the interior thang? If that suits? Yeah that makes sense really. Touch wood it's just a dodgy coil or something that's easy to fix!
-
Rotrex are generally the best for power, a 74 will get you ~300bhp, 84 will go to ~350bhp and a 94 can do over 400bhp! B5VWC on here is running very good power from a Rotrex charger. The Rotrex is also the smallest and the quietest by far. Vortech's have been done to death so are well proven and are generally reliable, but not great for all out power. Z-Engineering I can't really comment on as never looked in to them, I think they're probs on par with the Vortechs power wise.

 Everyone's doing it, don't sell Odin and join in!

My hero! :luvlove: :notworthy: LOL :D Shall I bring that Neil with me??! Yeah you can bring that Neil if you want, might as well make a day of it!

Well no progress, Stealth were too busy to help me out this weekend which is fair enough as I have been there for the past 4 weekends taking up their time and not being charged! Took it to my local VAG specialist garage who I thought would be ok and he said I'd have to book it in, I only wanted a quick scan! He also said that my car was too old for VAG-COM :cuckoo: VAG specialist my arse! So did sod all really weekend, I hate wasted weekends :(
