  1. You gotta have a pair of fluffy dice mate! R32 prep is almost ready, just waiting on downpipes to actually get started on it, should be a few weeks (hopefully sooner!) as Pete's still working on the next batch. Once they arrive though I can start fittin the engine
  2. Good choice of wheels 8) This is how they looked on mine (although mine were 9x16 all round and were custom sprayed):
  3. Cheers mate! It will be a bit more purposeful when it's got the R32 lump in it
  4. Cheers guys! Few more... Majorly blurry but I liked this shot as you can still make out its a corrado speeding past! Trying to look gangsta 8) - not really, it was quite bright out! Love this pic!
  5. Took a few pics with a mate lastnight, only got a couple to upload at the min but will have a few more up soon. Got one of the rear to show the work I had done at StyleHaus after the silly bint crashed in to me! Just waiting on Dubpower downpipes btw and then I'll be starting the engine conversion! Not long now!
  6. I think you will need pretty much everything to the VR tbh, you'll need to convert to VR (without engine) and then to 24v as far as I know.
  7. Yeah VAG paint is solid stuff, it would take you all day to burn it, Jap paint on the other hand (especially Honda) would melt like butter if not careful! Similar case with Alfas, I once gave a mates Alfa a once over and it removed pretty much every defect from the paint with very little effort, where as VAG cars I have polished take bloody ages!!
  8. Chuck Norris could roundhouse the bolt out!
  9. You're more than welcome to come and lend a hand mate. I'll let you know when we start! I'm more than happy to lend a hand too mate. I will pop up in my C so you can photocopy and use tracing paper as required... Again you are more than welcome mate, will be good to catch up as well!
  10. This is what I use. The standard foam pads don't last long, they just shred up as soon as you hit anything other than a flat surface! I use a megs backing plate and megs polishing pads (the peach coloured one (soft), yellow (medium) and red (hard)) and they work a treat! Practise first though before trying with your own paint. It's not too hard though, you would have to be using some really harsh polish at a pretty high speed to burn the paint!

  12. And if you sell it 10 minutes after we get it running..... I'll have to get my slipper out and give you a public b0ll0cking   that'll never ever happen mate because I know we'll get ir running factory smooth ;)

    car polishing

All good advice from John as usual. if it was me though I would ditch the step 2 and 3 of the megs 3 step and replace with Autoglym SRP followed with EGP and then wax. Reason being is the megs step 2 isn't really a polish, more of a glaze so would be better applying AFTER it's been polished with the likes of SRP as it will add a nice depth of shine and also help fill some swirls a bit ready to be waxed. However if you apply the megs stage 2 "polish" after SRP then I would just go straight to some good wax and leave EGP as you won't get much of the EGP on the paint as it's designed to bond to the SRP. So for me it's either: Megs Stage 1 > SRP > EGP > Wax OR Megs Stage 1 > SRP > Megs Stage 2 "Polish" (as a glaze) > Wax This is just my opinion though really. Rob.
  14. nice one rob! - if you need any help i can try to be of some use :D Cheers mate, I might hold you to it  Kev will be helping most of the time as he's anxious to learn more about the 24v's so I'm not complaining, his help will be legendary!
  15. Yeah I have been lazy and not bothered  Car is out the body shop looking fresh (at the back anyway, front could still do with a respray!). I will get some pics up when I remember. I have sorted most parts I need for the R32 (to get it in anyway, just little bits as I go along then) so I am hoping to start it very very soon!
  16. Ahh yes the b@stard cam bolt, that sure was on tight, I thought the cam was going to snap when the garage were having a go
  17. yeha good job they didn't see that! My pole was a struggle, And the lube didn't seem to help much either!
  18. Your c0ck maybe Kev ;) Not sure whats more worrying here, the use of genitals as a spark plug gaping tool, the size of the aforementioned genitalia or that one of you knows the size of the other ones baby making equipment. :D
  19. Your c0ck maybe Kev ;)
  20. In regards to the TDI pedal, I got the part number for it which is 1K2 721 503 M and on Vagcat (online ETKA link) it just lists that part number as the accelerator pedal for Audi A3/S3/quattro 04-05 and Golf/Variant/4Motion 04-05 so I'm guessing they are all the same. Result then
  21. I did say 'small' slap
  22. Your not far away from me. See you in 5 mins to give you a small slap  Have you seen the size of Karl? I wouldn't want to give him a slap
  23. HERE's the V5 tensioner in question. It looks like the right one, but can't be certain.
  24. Baggsy them when you sell them then as I want them more
