Hi all Wondering if anyone can recommend a good quality bodyshop up for mods anywhere around the Cambridge area. Looking to get some fairly serious archwork done. Cheers. Anton

x3 more facelift VDO gauges sourced. Anyone?
Anton Sobriquet replied to Pat_McCrotch's topic in Suppliers Forum
If there's one left, I'll take it. -
Hi Stuey Thanks, mate. Noted.

Hi Tom Thanks for that, mate, I'll bear it in mind.

Hi all Looking for used 225x40x16s in any condition. Don't need to be legal, just for a trial fit of some wheels. A single tyre would do, a pair would be ideal, but willing to consider any number. If anyone's got a decent set of four I would also be interested. Cheers. Anton

I have both a Corrado VR6 and a Mk3 GTi 16V rear beam next to each other in my garage - exactly the same width. Both for sale but I'm even further away in Cambridge.

Anton Sobriquet replied to bristolbaron's topic in Wanted
Hi I have an airbox and a mint leather OEM steering wheel, mate. LMK if you're still looking. Anton -
I can probably help you out in a couple of weeks when I swap my 02A for a 02J tower. I'm just not exactly sure at the mo when the job will be done. PM me so I've got your details then I can let you know when mine's available. No probs if you've found one elsewhere in the meantime. Cheers. Anton

Going to post these on Parts FS.

Sorry about the delay getting these posted up... They are in black with a faint purple pattern out of a late VR6 and are in absolutley mint condition. The door cards and passenger & back seats look and feel like new. Driver's seat has a small mark on the backrest, which I've tried to illustrate, and one or two very faint marks on the seat you can hardly see. Probably come out with a bit of shampoo. My camera is crap but I can try and take more pics, if required. No idea what they're worth at all, so let's say £325 ono to comply with forum rules, although you're welcome to pay more if you want. I would think you're unlikely to find anything else as good let alone better. Make me an offer if you're interested, otherwise I'll try them on a FS thread / eBay. I also have a mint black dashboard out of a late VR6 with all the bits except fasteners and VR6 clocks. I do have 16V clocks. Cheers. Anton

You can borrow mine, mate. It's a hydraulic 3 ton Clarke crane. I'm in the centre of Cambridge, if that's close enough. PM me with your 'phone number if you want to take it up.

I have late VR6 black cloth seats (rear hump) with door cards. The ones with a feint purple fleck. They're in absolutely mint condition. I bought them from a forum member for an abortive project and coincidentally thought to myself only the other day I should really get my a**e into gear and get them sold. If you're interested, I'll get them out of their plastic covers at the w/e and up some pics for you.

Hi I've got some of the polybushes, tho' not sure which - I'll check. Also have a VR6 front cross member, if that's any use?

The aluminium 20V Mk4s are the caliper of choice and can be had for about £40-50 from the scrappie. They'll plug straight in using a Goodrich Mk2 to Mk4 conversion line kit. They're the same as Mk3s, but they're aluminium not steel. I've had a set on for about 18 months with no probs at all.

Can I order 8, please, or am I too late (again)? -
45 quid, mate, which is what I paid for it, incl. postage. It's brand new.

I got the Xenon dips upgrade on mine. Total transformation. Absolutely brilliant now. Hence, I have for sale an uprated headlight loom,if anyone's interested. Never actually got around to fitting it, but it's the one that used to appear as a sticky on Parts: http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=96184 Have to agree that projector angel eyes look pants on the car. DO like the audi conversions on Dubdesign A LOT, tho'. I did start to have a go at it but had to put it aside when life suddenly got frantic. Hope to complete that little project sometime.....

Managed to dig out the manual. For future reference, if anyone's interested, just tape over the clear wedge shaped section of the headlight lenses that point to the left. Works a treat and my xenons gave me more than adequate lighting. Just don't use gaffer tape, as I did. The heat melts the adhesive, which tries to weld itself to the glass and is a c..t to get off! Insulation tape instead, as the man suggested.

Unfortunately, the instruction manual is locked away in storage while I'm renovating. If anyone has theirs to hand or has a good memory, could they please post up the instructions?

I was hoping I could just fiddle about with thr adjusters when I get there. Better find a Halfords en route. Yeah, bit of an expedition. Worst of it is I have to do Cambridge - Blackpool - Dover first. I'll end up having done over 2000 miles by the time I get back

Need to make an emegency trip to Ancona to collect stranded wife. Anybody know whether I can adjust headlights for driving on the right, or do I need to get those plastic stick-on converters? Also, any tips re speeding issues etc would be handy. My route will take me through France, Switzerland and Italy: Calais - St Quentin - Reims - Metz- Strasbourg - Mulhouse - Basel - Luzern - San Gottardo tunnel- Lugano - Milano - Bologna - Ancona No idea how long it might take but I'd guess 12-16 hours depending on opportunities.

OK, I'll get some pics taken. Better start a FS thread, I suppose. £75 is just from memory, tho'. I'll have to dig out the invoice.
