    Wiper trouble

check the linkages for play. I fitted a new wiper motor to my C on sat as mine was making a god awful noise, in fact it still is as the piece of crap motor I got from Euro car parts came straight back off, slow, juddery junk. Was £50 odd aswell. Got a second hand one on its way to me.
  8. Oh and just to add VAG-COM wont talk with my ABS-ECU its tries for a while then comes up with an error message along the lines of too many communication errors. Cheers.
  9. Just a quick one I hope - will the ABS light come on if there is a fault with the fluid level sensor? I un-screwed the cap yesterday to look at the fluid. When I went to drive off the light stayed on, I stopped turned the ignition off and on and the light went out and stated off untill I used the car again now its permenatly on when using the car. I have done a search, and have read about the other sensors which I will check, but I couldnt see any mention of the level sensor - that would usually put the brake warning light on wouldnt it? Just seems odd it started after I disturbed that cap/sensor. Thanks in advance. Chris.
  10. Chap selling them said he bought them for his A6 but then found out they would only go on A3's.... which is what I saw them on yesterday and thought yum. Is the A3 5x100? cheers.

    Wheel size q

I have just purchased a set of estorils - 6J can i put 205's on them or does it have to be 195's? I know you can stretch tyres over wheels, but i'm guessing you cant put wider tyres on a narrower wheel can you.. Also will I feel much difference in grip/handling - car is a vr - which i believe always came with 205's. cheers.
