  1. I've bought four, they have all been Corrado's :brickwall:
  2. Was sent this in an email  This was an add in a local Irish newspaper 4-sale 1985 VW. Only 50 miles. Only first gear and reverse used. Original tyres, brakes, oil and fuel. Only 1 driver. Owner wishing to sell due to employment lay-off. A picture of the car is below image111.jpg[/attachment:faw14ahu]
  3. There's a lot of counterfeit cash going round these days
  4. it does help to give lots of info.....if only to avoid the funnies lol dragon green & cream leather match the storm but without badges [1 on rear & 1 by the gear stick trim] & if the speedlines were original then i doubt it is, storms came with the solitudes i think UK spec rado VR6's were 2.9 ABV but the US used the 2.8 AAA lump....i believe :) even if it aint a storm why worry  there is no technical specification difference.....just badges really incoming on the ever lasting storm debate ha ha ha Classic Green
  5. Have you tried asking the present owner
  6. Yep, defiantly get a cage, you don't want to be replacing chewed seats, parcel supports etc
  7. A set sold on German Ebay 2 weeks ago, I had been watching them and had asked the guy if he'd post, he said yes, for 60 Euros :D then I forgot about them, they sold for £70 :epicfail:

    a wheel question

Hey Jok, where you been hiding since April  As Too Hot said, yes the Santa Monica's will fit, have a look through the gallery, I'm sure you'll find someone running them, please dont go for some cheap reps :epicfail:
  9. £80 all in, £105 if you want to put the reg onto a retention cert to use at a later date
  10. Yeah they don't even give you a bit of old rope for the money you hand over to them either. That's a nice little earner for the DVLA. When you consider that the admin needed basically involves paying some underpaid sod in Swansea to type your new reg into the computer and press "OK" (from which a computer produced V5 is posted to you) it's a pretty outrageous fee really. I have just done a plate transfer, local office (Dundee) quoted 7 Day return, most of them are done in - house these days, so even less admin charges
  11. FFS speak English :gag: Although I'm Scottish
  12. I was just looking at that, says his uncle bought it for him on Saturday, then he describes how much work he has done on it inc a full respray  holy sh!t he works fast  Edit: Didn't realise he is quoting the previous owners add
  13. I was there aswell, didn't see your car Steve? Not that I had the Raddo with me, went in the Quattro, less smoke :( Some nice cars, but as you say, not many Raddo's
  14. They are large  what size of spacer you got in there
  15. I've used them a few times now, had no problems and their prices are very good
  16. :epicfail: I thought it was Mystic Meg
  17. They should be 5x100, but the ET is to high, you would need to use 15-20mm spacer's, also the centre bore on the Scooby rims will be 56mm, where as, VW's are 57.1, you would need to have these machined out
  18. Full spec for all models are in the knowledge base, G60 1115kg, VR 1240kg
  19. Get in there  there's a STORM knockin about on Scottishvag that needs bought
  20. Excellent! Think I'll get our A4 converted for the wife :bad-words:  Some other good clips on there
