Found this today when looking around the car. F*ckers....
-
Thanks, I actually moved it onto my sisters drive just up the road from where I live. My road isn't that bad, there are a few little sh*ts around. The shoe prints on the roof are quite big so I am asuming it was someone older who was probably pissed...

I don't know as it had been parked in the same spot for about 4 days. Just seems weird that it was literally a year to the day that it happened last time. :confused4: I am due to go down to JMR on the 9th for some other work and will see what he says.

My rado has been vandalised again! This time someone has climbed onto the roof and jump on it. It was parked on my road about 100m from my house and happened between 26th and 31st Dec. I noticed it on the evening of 31st Dec. A very similar incident occured in the early hours of Boxing Day 2007 where someone jumped on the bonnet, damaging that. I've attached a few photos. The damage to the roof is just behind the sunroof and it looks as if the sunroof is open on tilt but thats the dent. The sunroof also has small dents in it. I have reported it to the Poilce and they are sending a forensic officer as there are three clear foot prints on the roof and a hand print on the bonnet. Does anyone know if damage like this to a roof can be repaired? Thanks Stefan :(

I just clicked on ask seller a question and have been using ebay to message them.
-
I didn't think they were but they have a listing on Polish ebay so you would think they at least spoke the language.
-
This is the reply I received last night. no sorry. you find other mph corrado-passat instruments in our shop.
-
:brickwall: I received a reply! He doesn't speak Polish and asked for me to write in English. Strange that he has listed it on Polish ebay. Anyway, I have written back to him.
-
I've sent the seller a message in Polish.
-
I do. What do you need? Stefan

MADE AND FINISHED TO VERY HIGH STANDARDS, AND WILL BE TAKEN FOR REAL LEATHER WHEN FITTED PROPERLY

Does Tom have any lying around?

Keep the Valver and treat yourself to a VR for Christmas.
-
Well said Jim. Let them do it, I'll PM you some Polish words if you want Monkey??? They'll be very impressed. They do jobs that British people are too lazy and 'above themselves' to do IMHO. If they're happy to earn minimum wage washing cars and doing a good job then more power to them!

I'd do the work and keep it. You have obviously spent alot on the body so don't sell it for parts. It looks smart.

I had someone walk over my car Christmas Day (night) last year. Wrecked my bonnet!!! -
Is your Corrado the most unreliable car you've ever owned?
the delta force replied to Jay2's topic in General Car Chat
My first car (Fiat Punto 'N') was pretty :censored:. The valver has had a few major problems but not the most unreliable car. -
Tyre deflatting to 18 PSI, tyre seems fine??
the delta force replied to -Neil-'s topic in Drivetrain
How weird. I don't use my C all the time but when walking past it last week, noticed that the two rear tyres looked deflated. I drove it to the petrol station, the left was 7 PSI!!!! and the right 16 PSI. I put air the the left but the right would not inflate at all. After putting the spare on, checked the left again which had already fallen 3 PSI. Noitced a nail in one and guessing a faulty valve in the other! Just before Christmas! -
I can't get it up...

My girlfriend has just bought an almost identical VR6 also with a K & N. Nice car... Good luck with the plans. Stefan

Thanks

I know, I hate them. Will it be easy enough to do Yan? Slowly learning a bit more about the electrics on the Corrado and want to do more things myself. Tom, if you find some, do let me know. Thanks Indeed the connectors that are currently fitted have been bodged in, just look at the poorly applied insulation tape. After looking at all the aftermarket lights they really are very poorly manufactured from cheap materials in my opinion, all the shiny stuff tends to flake off and most of them suffer from water ingress. :cuckoo:
