Yeah thanks for that boys, theres a dealer only about 6 or 7 miles away so i think a trip there is in order....see if i can blag some from them.....well i did pay a full £29 the other day on a new set of number plates & a rear chrome vr6 badge so i'm probably one of there best customers now :wink: :lol: :lol:

I've just took off the corrado script badge off the rear of my c to replace with a chrome one & there was 4 little blue clips came off the back of the 4 pegs that fit in the holes, but they all kind of......broke :oops: does anyone know if these are still available from the stealers, if not its out with blue peters double sided sticky tape :lol:

Thanks Goldie thats what i needed to know :thumb right: there's a guy advertising some ' late ' indicators on ebay but i noticed that screw hole on them which mine does'nt have, think i'll let him know the error of his ways now :lol: :lol:

Yeah just had the same happened to mine aswell :x , just to clarify the early indicators are the ones with the obvious screw fixing in the top corner & obviously the late ones must have some kind of internal fixing ??

As above ....whats the difference? i have found some 'late' front indicators on ebay but they seem to have some kind of screw fixing on the top corner of the lense where as mine does'nt have that obvious fixing :help: are these the early ones ?? Also how much would i expect to pay for an indicator & also a headlight for a late model (new or used)?? any advice would be welcomed....cos i ain't got a clue :oops:

i've seen some ronal 6 spoke alloys & was wondering if they would bolt on without any worries, they are 7x17 5x100 et32 with 205-40z-17 toyo's. if they are going to fit ok i was wondering about ride height, at the minute i am standard height on my 93 vr which i would imagine might look quite odd so i was also wondering what kind of drop is the best without going mad....any help would appreio'd, :wink: cheers guys

we've just got one fitted at the weekend called a 'Britax Evolva', which apparently is the one that britax designed for kind of sports seats which the rear of the c are, & it fits perfectly, our littlun is 11 months & its his first forward facing one & i was panicing a bit as i had tried one or two before that but they were all no good, its not bad looking either dark grey in colour & high head supports cost us £90 from mothercare, not too bad for the next 3 years... hopefully!!! hope this helps a bit & all does'nt sound too sad. .......the things we have to put up with to have it as a daily driver eh :roll:

ssoooooooooo tempted...... i reckon they would set the car off perfectly filling those arches up very well, don't think i've got that kind of spare cash at the minute (so wor lass says), might have hunt around for something a bit more.......second hand :( cheers Mav3 for noticing it is my birthday, its more than the bloody kids did :lol:

As it says up top, this is my first c, so i thought as i'd ran a sponge over it i might as well take some pics & say ' hi ' at the same time. :salute: My vr is pretty clean if not mint, totally standard as you can see apart from one or two very subtle mods that only the very keen eyed would notice including a very nice 'Britax' forward facing child seat very neatly placed up front at the minute :roll: , & of course the obligitory corrado-forum.net car stickers looking pretty fly (as we say oop north) 8) I don't really have any great plans to 'mod up' my vr, i'm more into the original look for my own cars, apart from perhaps some AZEV A's on 17" & maybe some red & crystal rear light which i think look pretty cool on this colour car...we'll have to see....

I have just bought my new vr which i am over the moon with, i contacted my insurance company to tell them about my change of details from my passat v5 to my new corrado vr6, i was told it would cost me another £14.50 for the rest of the policy which ends on december ( not too bad i did'nt think ) :D . The details i gave for the vr included having no alarm or immobilisor at all !!!. I have just contacted them again to tell them that as of tuesday 1st august i am having a cat 1 thatcham approved toad Ai 606 system installed & all they have told me is to inform them when it has been fitted but it WON'T affect my premium at all. :x Even though i am 38 years old & i have got reasonable premium i still would have presumed that this would have reduced my premium a bit. :brickwall: Has anyone else ever had this happen to them ?

not really, it was featured on the section 'drive a car for 12 months for free' meaning all the depreciation has gone :D :D it was only on for about a minute, no driving or owt like that, although saying that it was a peachy satin silver, 'n' reg, full black leather interior with about 60 odd thousand miles on, the guy wanted £4500 for it.....not a bad deal me thinks :thumb right:

just tuned in & low & behold ....yep you guessed it they are going to feature the ' vr ', thought i would pass it on to get a chance to tune in & enjoy

just to update.......i did'nt buy it afterall.....pretty pointless thread really :cuckoo: But also to add i have just got my very first c , a beautiful aqua blue pearl vr, totally standard just as vw intended :) i will be adding some more details & some pics on the members gallery asap

I'm picking up my first c on monday a dragon green vr, & the only problem there is with it (so far) is the sunroof cable snapped a few months back & is now permanently closed, as far as i can gather after reading various threads i need a sunroof repair kit but don't really want to go to the stealers for obvious reasons... other than that i would'nt have the foggiest what to do with it any way!!! so i was wondering if anyone else in the newcastle area has ever been as shite as me & had to take it to a garage or body shop or whatever to get sorted & if so ....where & how much etc. any help or advice would be fantastic while the sun is still shining 8) or even if anyone out there is a bit handy with those drivescrewers or what ever they are called fancies earning a few extra dubloons. cheers

No not at all, just genuinely curious if i would get any response from any previous owners, as i say thought it would be interesting even to see if any previous owners were even members of this forum. If i even thought the vr was dodgy i certainly would'nt be shelling out my hard earned, cos i am as tight as a nat's chuff!!

don't know if this has been done before but here goes anyway, i'm about to get my first corrado on monday from the wirral area & i was just curious to see if anyone on here has ever owned it in the past as i think it has had about 4 previous owners, or even if you knew who had it, if so just let me know when , how long, any bother etc.... as i say just curious & thought i might be interesting to see what crops up. it's a dragon green 'vr' M113PKJ (least it is a green vr now anyway....lol) the current owner has only had it 7 months & is in the forces & is being posted abroad for a few years & is ever so slightly gutted :( but every cloud etc... :lol:
