  1. Very nice mate, looks cool in silver. :D
  2. Spotted it, definitely an early grille so G60 or Valver, had a few rewinds of it on the old Sky+ How sad... :D
  3. Looks very tidy mate, congrats on your new purchase! 8)
  4. You must have made that place name up suuuuurely...  Haha! You could be forgiven for thinking so! Alas, they are real... :D
  5. Not Corrado related I know, but at least it's VAG! The Mrs's Bug (2002 1.6) has developed a noise on startup, sounds like a washing machine starting its spin cycle and lasts for about 30-45 secs, which upon good advice, is the Aux Air Pump wearing/worn out. Apparently these serve little or no pupose and can be disconnected until the unit is/isn't replaced. So the question is 2fold, firstly where is the bugger, and secondly is it just a case of disconnecting the plug feeding it? Not had a chance to get underneath to have a look yet, so just wondering if anyone else has come across these on other models maybe, and is it correct that they can be disconnected with no harm being done elsewhere (MAF readings etc) Cheers in advance as always... :)
  6. Cool cake! What are those rims? Oreo's? Are they 19's? They look massive! :D Happy Bday mate!
  7. Sorry to hear that mate. Tossers.
  8. The chains themselves probably don't have a service life, but in reality, worn out tensioners and guides realting to the chains would potentially lead to catastrophic problems... For peace of mind I would budget for getting them changed. It's top of my "BIG JOBS" list lol
  9. Excellent site. I'm not jealous at all... :D
  10. I'd love to come over and have a look when it's finished Karl? And a belated Happy B'day mate! Good to see the lump in! 8)
  11. Fuse No.4 Rear Wiper/Sunroof 15Amp Fuse No.21 Interior Light, Boot Light, Make Up Mirror Light :camp: Central Locking, MFA. 15Amp. HTH
  12. If it's been bumped in the past, a HPI check might be a good idea too. Only £5 online from the RAC...
  13. Ah cool, presumably A=early B=late??
  14. Hi mate, the search is your friend... :) viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16625&hilit=wolfrace+voodoo Always a winner... 8)
  15. Never seen it done, probably because it'll look shoit! Changing the lamps won't sort it anyway mate, it's the voltage drop through the loom which causes the dimness (you only get about 10.5v at the lamps with original wiring) Get the loom upgraded, did that on my old valver, saw 13.5v at the lamps after that. The best £30 I spent on her TBH. Can't someone quickly Pshop this to see what it'd look like? :D
  16. Yeah it's for the VR mate, how come there's 2 numbers? LHD/RHD??
  17. Hi mate, the wheel you bought is from a late 16v, but no reason why the horn shouldnt work. I'd whip the front of it off, check your connections, and make sure the contacts inside are all clean. Other than that, use the search, as you'll probaby find most of your questions have been answered before. "I did wipe the roof and I guess moved a connection in the control area as it worked fine until then" Wiped from the outside? Doubt you would have disturbed anything there. (Assuming the roof was closed!) I'd start pulling fuses individually and checking them. Check for moisture in the fusebox too, as you may have blocked sunroof drain channels, (these run down the A-Pillar and through to the wheel arches) and when you washed the car, it may have caused all these problems by soaking the fusebox. HTH and good luck!
  18. HA! The Corsa looks like Tron's weekend ride.
  19. Hi mate, welcome! If its had the clutch done it'll most likely have had timing chains (no belt on the VR6) and tensioners done at that time. Worth confirming that as it's considered a must on the VR (usually at about 100k but opinions vary). With a full respray and new wheels you'll be getting a bargain if you can get him below 4k. Get some pics up, and let's have a look! :D
  20. Why not? Have a go and post some pics of your results. You might start a new trend! :)
  21. Ha! Very nice clean looking VR you've got there mate! Plenty height off on the front. The stance looks sweet.
  22. Brilliant! The only thing worth watching on a Sunday night! :D
  23. Looks very nice! Like the colour, suits the inpro/eyebrow look. I'd have to lose the single rear mudflap though. Loving the Borbets. 8)
  24. Welcome mate! Looks spot on with wheels lights and plates changed. Leather looks good too... 8) Definite calender shot contender, either of the two cloudy shots...
