NEW VW Concept - BlueSport

Possible wing mirror upgrade option if they do produce it lol. -
If 1 & 4 are working then its not the thermal fuse on the blower motor board. AFAIK when the fuse has blown, you get speed 4 only. I reckon it must be the copper contacts on the control dial. When I did the thermal fuse replacment on mine, I was still missing speed 1, the contacts seemed to be ok, but some gentle bending with a pair of pointnoses sorted it out. HTH

Did you used to own my C John, cause my front fogs button is on the left, rears on the right???

I think the gubbins controlling the windows are behind the drivers side quarter panel? dunno about the pass side quarter panel though? Don't know if there's enought space to fit much of an amp in that area anyway? Audioscape do an amprack for the rear of the rear seats, you seen those? Doesn't hide it totally, but it'll need venting anyway...

He clearly has the ability to "bend it round the wall" in more ways than one...

Had one in the valver, took an hour of trimming to get it to fit, and IMO looked poop. I'd find an original set of the plastic covers...

On New Years Day my brain felt how that looks -
yeah, to be honest i'd be surprised if you got more than 15-20 mins actually driving it i'm afraid, especially with the other things it includes - the ones that give you any serious time in a supercar are well on the way to or past the £250 mark. but it still looks like you'll have a great time though! It reckons on the paperwork to allow for approx 4 hours there on the day? So here's hoping it WAS a £250 jobbie!! Lol (It'd better be the amount I forked out on the Tiffany set I got for her :D )

lol. My mate used to live there, by the chinese take away. Always used to drive past a Tornado red C there too. Yeah the Tornado probably would've been my old one. Pretty sure it was the only one round here. Sadly missed (till I got the VR :D )

Look at his members thread. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7027&start=90 Pic about halfway down the page, looks different to me...

Nah don't think that'd work tbh, have a go though, not seen one like that on a C so at least it'd be original..

Sounds excellent mate! That wouldn't have been me at the onestop, been over Shrewsbury for a couple of days. From Cheslyn Hay really but who's ever heard of that? lol

My girlfriend, being the absolute darling that she is, has bought me a Ferrari/Rally experience for Xmas! Booked through treatme.net Reading up a bit, you get full briefing on driving the Ferrari (a 355 or 360 depending on where you go), followed by around an hour in the Ferrari on the track. After this, you practice handbrake turns/drifts on a gravel pan, and the onto a rally stage in either the Subaru WRX or the Mitsubishi Evo 7 Anyone else done one of these days? Or have any other tips in general? Can't wait to go and do it! Gonna wait till the weather warms up a bit though first...

Looks nice! I still miss my valver. Keep the sebrings, and get all red rears! 8)

Bloody hell, that rear quarter's got DB9 all over it. So, Laguna, or Lagonda?
-
No reason why the VR shouldn't do over 200k miles really, at 174k tho it might be worth finding out if the timing chains/tensioners have been replaced. But at the same time, there are some on here who've not had them replaced (myself included, mine's on 110k) and they're still going strong. It's like the old saying goes, if it aint broke don't fix it. Get some pics up and welcome to the forum!

Thats seriously shortened. And the footwell was intact?

Looks nice and tidy mate, paint looks in good nick too. Welcome back! :-)

Gutted for you mate, know exactly how you feel, mine was done down the whole length of the passenger side last week outside the GF's house. Fkin scum, I nearly cried. -
If a Golf Cup series is out of budget why not have a go at Karting? Presumably it would be cheaper?

MK3 Golf VR coilovers will fit, unsure about MK2 though, i think the springrate is greater for the VR kits to allow for the extra engine weight. HTH
