Check out Mic_VR's gallery, pretty sure his is lowered on Speedlines (Aqua Blue VR).... I think its on his Sig, and sometimes on the banner at the top...

Looks cracking now mate! Is that 40mm off? Any rubbing? Considering polished comps for mine, prob gonna save for BBS RX though. I did the Aero conversion on mine, what a difference that makes on a rainy motorway! (Just fitted a retrofit one on the rear too, which tidies it up nicely)
-
So you've got 4 stud hubs up front and 5 stud hubs at the back? You've lost me a bit there m8...
-
Not at the minute mate, saving hard for holidays at the end of July! :? Your'e liking the Weitec kit then? :D Whats the Comfort/Handling compromise like on those?
-
Bloody good work! A complete bargain by the looks of it. The bay certainly cleaned up well... 8)

I would've thought they'd need 15mm adapters to bring you down to ET36. Close enough for 4 or 5 stud then... HTH
-
It'd be interesting to see the cost of these, can't see them being cheap, but it'd be a nice upgrade for winter...
-
Yeah I think it is, gonna have to get it sorted I reckon, but its gonna involve doing the housing too, as thats never been changed... :(
-
Cheers Dink, I've read that thread, and very good it is too. What I need to know though is will the ECU go back to cold map if the temp drops below 70 after it has reached temp initially. Couldnt find that in there... Kev seems to get up to temp quick enough, 5-10 mins tops...
-
Right then, hopefully a quick one this. The coolant temp on my VR when on the motorway drops to about 70c My question is this, will the engine revert to cold mapping (i.e use more fuel)?? What temp does the cold map cease to be in effect? Cheers chaps... :)

StueyBs '95 VR6: Thread resurrection circa 2011...

Very nice that is, the paint looks mint. Great colour too... -
Glad you got it sorted Paul! Thought it would be a relay, knew it wouldn't be the bulbs as they were replaced with £60 worth of upgraded items when I fitted the loom about a month before you bought her. When you gonna get some recent pics up? :D
-
Hi Paul, glad to hear you're still pleased with the old girl. Gotta be one of the two relays in the loom. (They sit just downstream from the battery, you can't miss em.) Should be able to get them replaced at Halfords or suchlike. Is she behaving herself other that that though?

Looks tidy mate, what rims are they?
-
Not sure if it matters which lead, I did the "tap 5 times on the terminal " trick with the positive and it worked. If one doesn't work, try the other..
-
Good work that man! Welcome to the Forum! And welcome to the love/hate world of Corrado ownership. Get some pics up!
-
So you found one then mate? Got those lights tinted yet?
-
Onward and upward eh? Hats off to you for the modding though, there's not many on here who'd dare to stray that far from the "norm" (me included) :salute: :salute: P.S. Lovin your pic! :norty:

A54 Buxton to Congleton across the Peak District, brilliant road, slow bends, fast bends, hairpin bends, fast straights, great scenery. Not been up there in the rado yet, but even in the TDi 150 Bora it was brilliant! (note to self, must take the VR up there)

Hi mate, the search on here reveals they are M14x1.5mm Unsure on the thread length though?
-
Looks 8) on those steels! Glad to see you've got yourself another one!
-
Chrome plated wheel bolts? (or somewhere that can)
mattnorgrove replied to dinkus's topic in Suppliers Forum
Which bolts from the Midlands Wheels site would be suitable for the VR? I gather they are M14X1.5mm but what length? Cheers! :) -
Very nice, much more subtle than the chrome aftermarket ones. Anyone got a pic of them fitted?
-
Pretty sure cheesewire modded the control box on his to make the spoiler raise later (faster) by swapping existing resistors for differently rated ones. Have a search, I'm sure you'll find it...
-
Looks good skinny! Reminds me of my old one. Let's see your new rims then. Like the seats, but where's the centre tunnel gone?
