  1. Good ol fleabay strikes again! Lookie what I got.... for £200!!!!!! Evo 6 seats (front and back) out of a 2000 MY car.
  2. I'd love to see someone do a front splitter in CF! I'd def have one. Might even have a go myself and post the results up. Got to be worth it at the mo, people are crying out for bespoke CF products.
  3. try powerstation for AST coilovers, they are def both comp and rebound adjustable and also have a separate oil res for each shock.
  4. sorry.. should have mentioned. Gloucester City
  5. Cracking dub place, one ex dealer tech and his sidekick run it and are really cheap and helpful. (Bedford Motors on Bedford st) Yesterday......... Turns out that my vacuum pipe wasn't split and it was the oil pressure switch that was losing oil.. Basically is pissed it all out 2 miles from Glos. I had a bit left in the boot so limped to Bedford motors. 20 mins later they had one there and got it fitted while I wait. I also needed new rear pads and they told me to come back today. Dropped it off this morning, left it with them and asked for genuine parts only. They phoned me telling me that the o/s caliper was seized but they could do a recon OE part for 20 quid. Got another call 40 mins later and it was done. total bill for both jobs £70!!!! for oil pressure switch, oil (it had none), gen rear pads, o/s caliper and labour!! I reckon that's amazing and I gave em some beer tokens to say thanks. Top stuff so if your in the area then use em. Bedford Motors - 01452 504434

    SHOW US YOUR RIMS

As its an appropriate thread and I'm a thread whore :) They are an ACT/Ronal SX in 16 / 7.5's. I know they'll look better lowered but they look awesome in the flesh and different to most.

Well I was driving to Dubmeister yesterday and found a nice spot for a pic so here she is (collies will be ordered very very soon)..
  10. I also only use a wool wash mitt, megs drying towel and blade and then megs polish pads and a microfibre. They are all washed each time and kept in seperate bags. I'm a bit looopy
  11. In my opinion, gold class wax and a separate polish does a much better job than just NXT but if your lazy :S then NXT is good. I use a combo of Meguiars polish (can't remember the name) and gold class and then if I'm feeling energetic I'll use the extra gloss protection from AG. With all of my cars when I first get it, I'll strip all the existing crap off with paint renovator and then build it up using polishes, then waxes and then seal it.
  12. I reckon they will look shhhaweeet! O/t and pm me if you like but did you have any greif taking the side strips off your C? I'm umming and ahhing about whether to or not.
  13. Yeah it was the breather pipe, feels all soft and squashy and still seeps oil out... am getting a new one to fix (hopefully). I'm still surprised its leaking so much though.

Well, I drove 4 hours round trip to pick the wheels up and they look better in the flesh!! I then (I'm an idiot) took each wheel off and scrubbed the arches until clean and cleaned all the muck and dust off the new wheels until they looked new! Put the new wheels on and I'm a very happy lad and all for less than £300! I'll get a pic later and post it up... DEF needs lowering now though, should be within two weeks so I'll live with that.
  16. Ok, Brake cleanered it off now. It seemed to be around a metal part that had a feed pipe to the airbox and then and also the same pipe offshoots to the intake manifold. Directly beneath is the oil filter connecting block. Ran it up and left it for 10 mins idling and nothing.. I'm going to do a bit of normal driving and check again... then some hard driving and check again. Either way though it needs to be cured. Can you guess I hate oil leaks!! I'm scared of them :)
  17. Oil leak.. oil leak oil leak.. leaking oil, not good! Ok, It wasn't leaking 2 weeks ago when I got it and the chap that I bought it from did say it hadn't been driven much so I expected a few niggles. I've driven it steadily and have waited for it to warm up to 95 deg and then on occaision fairly hard. Highest rpm has been about 6800 though so not to the limiter. Come out this morning and I've noticed a few fairly large oil deposits on the ground.. Had a look under the car and the sump is soaked. Under the bonnet it seems to be mostly at the front of the block. I don't know what it is but there is a cylindrical shaped metal object bolted to the front and the oil seems to be there in fairly large quantities... What is this? (Its opposite the centre of the fan if that helps) I'm going to wait for it to cool down (I've just been out in it) and get the brake cleaner on it the sump and that thing.. Drive it again and see if I can pin point the leak.. Has anyone had this before? Is it common? what is the fix? Thanks in anticipation paul
