    My sunroof doesn't shut by key or alarm so your maybe right mine used to but doesnt now....it sounds more like an imobiliser problem the more i think about with the imobiliser cutting the power too quickly.

    sunroof works fine on the switch just not with total closure. ive a Sigma alarm fitted.is there any of extending the cut off time with the immobiliser?

    is this ISV easy to change? mines a bit lumpy on tick over too.

    My electric windows work ok, my sun roof works ok, my central locking works ok....but..... When I try to use the total closure system the sunroof jolts about 3 inches the windows susequently stay down (does the stuff in order) but my doors lock???? Any suggestions?? Is there a seperate switch for this that could be cuttin out somewhere? Cheers

    Well...christ knows. Took it to audi/vw in melksham yesterday picked it up this afternoon and they couldn't find a fault anywhere. Tried allsorts to get the fuse to blow again but the bloody thing wouldn't!!!. So back to square one I think. Still at least I got a free fuse out of it!!..lol

    got the same prob almost..sunroof which also happens to use the same fuse as the spoiler has now blown two fuses...its off to the vw boys to take a look next week.

    saw this done to a 205 gti and tried it myself on my 205. worked a treat. Just used ordinary matt spray paint nothing special..Just make sure its done in very very thin layers otherwise it forms clumps on the fibres.

    whistle??

    Odd one this one.. There seems to be slight whistle coming from the gearbox but it disappears when I apply pressure to the clutch pedal? Doesnt have to be pushed all the way in just the slightest pressure and the whistle disappears. Anyone know what on earth could be causing this? Cheers

    Just lately on a cold start with the interior heater on there's a really strong smell of fuel entering the cabin? Was really bad last night. Seems to disappear once the car starts to warm up but returns overnight when I start off first thing in the morning. Anyone have any idea why this might be? Thanks

    # Thats putting it mildly !!! I seem to have had some pretty bad luck with this C. It goes like a dream but the niggly bits keep raising their heads to put a damper on it all...lol

    Ive been getting that latetly too? Ive not lost any oil either but my oil warning lamp is flashing occasionally as well!! eek

    As the description really...its started in the last couple of days.The lamp goes out after starting but then came on whilst driving. The oil level is fine suggestions?? cheers

    I fancy the idea of the lowering me car a tad...but have absolutely no idea whats involved. Will it mean changing parts? Is it a big job? etc etc Some pointers would be appreciated? Ta

    Noticed this morning when I started the car up that the engine fired up but temporarily i had no ancillary electrics.. ie washers,blowers,indicators,heated window etc etc..the car was ticking over but for a few seconds I had nothing else? 2nd time this has happened and only seems to be when we've had a hard frost overnight. Any ideas?
