Yeah it was a double page spread listing the 100 greatest test drives.

Autocar did a feature on their top 100 road tests. the Corrado was listed next to the Mk1 Golf Gti. Thing is they say you view the full original report on their website? Buggered if I can find it..anyone else had any luck. They described the Corrado as "still one of the best FWD cars around" no arguments there! lol

I must be, I drive a Vr6 Corrado as featured in this months Classic Car magazine.. :D

had mine last week. Was outside washing the car when a chap walked past with his son. I heard him say "i've always liked those cars" the kid says "what dad? a Mr2?" (the neighbours car) "nah" he said " the Corrado I'd like one of them myself". :D I tried to remain cool 8) and carried on cleaning...grinning now tho lol

Total closure and central locking not working!
latestarter2 replied to VRTrickster's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
I've got a similar prob. The central locking works fine and the total closure works ok on the key but.. Total closure doesnt happen with the remote.the power is cut to soon and everything stops closing? -
Any special sealant or will any clear sealant do?
-
cheers...thats another prob sorted.

Ive noticed that the exterior windscreen seal along the top of the screen has "popped" out. It goes back in and stays for a little while (week or so) and then pops out again.Im assuming the wind is lifting it back out? Should i just put a run of sealant along it to hold it in or is it a case of getting the thing replaced? Its in good nick just doesnt seem to clicking and holding back in place. cheers

Does anyone know of a web site that allows you upload your car image and preview what it would look like with any rim on it? So you can pick and choose before you buy kind of thing?
-
Most definitely daily..well unless we're using the missus golf that is... :D If I had my way we'd use the C all the time.
-
Spooky !!!.. I had that problem 6 days after i'd bought mine!!..plus new ignition switch and bump stops. Wheel bearings will need doing soon too!!! You sure aint got my car!!!!
-
You're telling me!!!...I cracked up. Thing is tho..does your heater only work on one speed setting like mine or is yours just a pretend Corrado in which everything works..lol
-

The low sun is highlighting the fact that I need to get my windscreen sorted out...Its got lots of veru very scratches (prob from cleaning and wipers etc) and lots of small minute pits where bits of grit and sand and crap have smacked into it over time. Does anyone know where or indeed if I can get this stuff polished out or is a new screen in order? cheers
-
I have this on start up when cold really strong...but it goes once its warmed up? Any ideas?
-
windscreen just been cracked, best replacement?
latestarter2 replied to neil20vtc's topic in Exterior
can you get the marks/minute chips caused by dust and stuff polished out?...mine is begining to get a bit raggy and is difficult to see out of clearly when the sun shines on it? -
You don't have a problem.. as has been stated a million times before - these are perfectly normal temps for a standard unmodified VR6 Corrado. But you have a dodgy fan thermoswitch![/quote:36hu29xi] thought as much :-( lol. i'll put it on the list of jobs to do.
-
same here..i use a local chap vw trained and he does the work here at home...got my C and the missus's mk5 golf fully serviced for £200...Result!!

Ive had 36+ out of my VR. Well chuffed with that. Mind you the 3mile tail back behind me didnt appreciate it that much as I drove like a granny trying to eek that extra 0.1 on the guage..lol
