Thanks guys, I never realized about the classic parts section on Heritage. Looks like 2 are easy to get hold of and the other 2 will have to be ordered from Germany. I shall phone them later and make things happen

Also would anyone know if this is the same as the G60 part? - VW heritage have the G60 mounts but nothing listed for the VR6

Afternoon all, Does anyone know if it is still possible to get the rubber mounts for the bottom of the radiators still for both the main rad and the AC rad? Does anyone have part numbers or know who carries these items at all? Thanks Alex

Have a look at this fella. I am planning on doing something like this but its a good way off yet. this is however the best how too i have seen. This is/was a wanted post lol. Forge have been good to be fair and now they have seen photos realize there is an issue so thanks for the offer, but i think I'm sorted for pictures for now thanks

At the time I didn't know about the Roose ones and was not as active on the forum. I asked Forge at Inters last year and they asked for mine to pattern in exchange for a set. The deal was done and last September/October I was sent my set. Due to set backs here and there, I only refitted the rad last week and then found that these 2 hoses didn't fit. Forge had said that they were a match for the MK3 VR6 and have sent me a set of them - however I now know this to be not true. When I emailed Forge this week, credit where it is due, they got back to be quickly but said that they had been an exact match so I sent the photos on my other thread and backed this up with some photos from the tinterweb showing a Corrado and also a MK3 with the differences (harder than you would think to get a clear shot of both to be of any worth!) Forge have now come back to say they see the difference and said they will need to try and dig out my old hoses but they have probably been binned and asked where they could get any from hence my looking. Does anyone have any Rad hoses for a VR6 kicking about? My origionals went to Forge to be patterned but something has gone wrong and my new silicone hoses don't fit. So I'm looking for another set to send back to forge and possibly a second set to get me up and running in the mean time. Thanks

I have Sky and only really watch films, F1 and Thrones, but love the HD. now find it very difficult to watch in SD. As for an Android box, I use an Amazon Fire TV, Great bit of kit, but I have hacked it to run some software called Kodi (free to download) - This talks to the 4TB NAS drive where all my films and music are stored and creates a cover flow setup like you get on iPod but with my DVD covers and synopsis. Took a lot of setting up, but works well and supports full DTS audio so quite sweet It will also do all the usual netflix etc without having to hack, all you Amazon content is available on it and Amazon prime is quite good if you want films

I have just mailed this to Forge to see what they have to say on the matter. They had my stock hoses in order to pattern them so I guess I will see what they come back with. Very gutting though as I only need the rad on to finally fire up the bloody thing and it might just spur me on to finish it!

OK. Are the MK3 and the Corrado different then? This is very annoying as Forge had my std hoses to pattern!!

Hi Phil, I think I have this still from mine where I upgraded to a Schrick and had to make a new hose up to reach. I will be able to get down the unit on Thursday to have a look and get you some photos Alex

Hi All. I have a set of Forge coolant hoses for the VR but I'm having real issues with getting the last 2 to fit. The 2 in question are the radiator hoses. The top hose is the one with the T in it for the small line going the the throttle body and the lower just goes to the 3 way block. The top hose appears to be the wrong shape and almost at 90deg to the rad top the lower hose is just too small. Has anyone else had issues or have photos that shows clearly what i should be aiming for? It is an AC car if that makes any odds? Thanks

Had a few issues with my Rallye that sound similar. I would have suggested swapping the 2 coolant sensors over, but you have done that My next check is the vac line that goes to the ECU, it needs to be a specific length 1m if i remember correctly, mine was intact my had perished and caused issues, my be worth a look also down behind the throttle body you should find 2 small screws that adjust the idle etc, if the screw falls out - they have a tenancy to, all hell breaks lose
