Yeah dude! That looks sick. 8)

Cheers... I swear this Mac doesn't like posting youTube links as they're always rubbish - I post 'em, but I can never actually see them once I have  You don't post the whole link, only the letters and numbers after the =

Gotta love Orbital! (fixed the link too)

Someone ran into the C yesterday and drove off

W@nker. Sorry to hear this mate, I know how you feel, someone did the same to my valver and it got written off and I lost 4 years of no claims :( Hope it gets sorted, you've not had the best of luck with that car. -
Well they did try to take over the world twice and we stopped them both times.... Actually I read that as "the war with Jesus" and it got me very confused! I for one will be watching the GP instead but if I had my car I'd be going for a drive as the roads are always empty and you can get some good runs.

Welcome to Corrado ownership! but when it works its a righteous car. 8)

Woah, what happened there?
-
Sweet, you can never have too many Corrados. I do love a nugget :luvlove:

Dave at DG recommended not changing the compression as i am not going as far as you turbo guys with power! but would be really interested in your opinions on other upgrades like the cams with 263s or 268s? also having a water misting system fitted but did think about putting air cooling..? this is the first time i have looked at getting an engine uprated so any advice would be welcomed! well i had 263s and it was very smooth all the way thru the range and they're good for low revs unlike the 268s (or so i have heard). i had thought about maybe putting some ducting to blow air on the charger when on the move to keep it a bit cooler, but i dunno about that really. was only a silly thought and it probably wouldn't help much. the charger sits pretty near where the airbox is/was so it should already be getting good air flow? kevhaywire tried various different inter/charge coolers and it didn't make much difference as the pressure drop was too severe. A 6 branch manifold with larger bore exhaust would help. I may well have my 2.5" bore with de-cat up for sale soon.

F*cking hell that drag car really moves! I hesitate to call it Corrado though, as it has a completely space-framed chassis and no original body panels. Your car is awesome too, love the engine work 8) , not a fan of the bonnet :gag:

Doesn't matter how fast it goes Karl, its still sh*t.
-
What wrong with it as it stands? This is LisaK's old car right?
-
How cheap are we talking?
-
They kick in at the first temp as per usual and the time they stay on is how long it takes to cool the water in the rad (? or somewhere thereabouts) and not the engine, so depending on how hard you are thrashing is how long they stay on for. Dave of DG is working on an adjustable fan controller, don't know if its ready yet though as they have been very busy recently. But I was running a supercharger with no dangerous heat issues, so the fans work fine.
-
So why don't they use the 3-speed settings? By 'linking' it to 12v does he mean via a switch?[/quote:35818ib1] Can't really say as I didn't install mine, but they come on normally but only at one speed. That speed is damn fast though, they're great fans.

Ah ok. Get some brackets from DG Autotech and some slimline fans from Revotec. Should be some threads about it somewhere, maybe in the group buy section.

What's all this? whats all what?

Old skool Mini.

My friend's band, he used to be the drummer for the Ozric Tentacles about 5 years ago and the guitarist is from the Brand New Heavies. Chilled but upbeat at the same time. Check it out! [youtube:2loa1epj]TCE92W__buQ[/youtube:2loa1epj]

Have you seen they're now using this as an advert for Top Gear on the BBC?

Jim's Corrado - ciao to the Fiat! Hello to.. (P64)
The_Dude replied to Jim's topic in Members Gallery
Youve got to remember that Dave and Graham want the car to be perfect when it leaves if it takes more time to finish so be it, i would rather it be right first time than keep taking it back, im itching to get my raddo back though Ditto that. You don't want a charger install rushed. Mine's been off the road for aaaages, but I'm not pressuring to get it back. Good news on the valver Jim! You seem to have a bullet-proof one there. But I'm thinking if you rarely drive it, is it worth spending the money on insurance, tax etc when you could sell it and maybe treat yourself to a Schrick or some cams with the profit? -
Which company is this? I'm guessing Green Flag.
-
Yeah, forgot to say it has been messed with. I'm sure there is a tuning company out there who will up it to about 1200 bhp?
