Looks good, nice surroundings. Pretty cool with no bonnet too! However I would say your camber needs sorting out. When are putting the other wheels on?

Looks lovely. 8) Git. :D

Yeah i wasn't being rude mate, it was a very subtle pun on what I had written previously. Forgot to put a smiley in afterward. Anyway I can hardly comment, some of the crazy tunes I have posted here won't be to anyone's taste!

I quite like that. Any particular album to go for? That I do not like. Video is ok though.

That car looks sh*t with those wheels, they're more like balloons or footballs with the amount of stretch he has going on. The interior is pretty gash too! :epicfail:

On tonight's show the boys make their own motorhomes and then drive to the west country on a bank holiday, Jezza tests the Audi R8 V10 Spyder and the Porsche 911 turbo cabriolet and the star in the reasonably priced car is Andy Garcia with a stupid mustache.

Haha I bet he went back to the HQ and said "we need to put more power in this thing, i couldn't lose a 15 year old car!"

Riley is the dude who sells it.

Na english document would probably be OK. I can't get it from the dealers - as they can't write such docs - it's only the guys that have to do with technical data when importing the cars that can do it - sadly here in Norway this is only done by 1! - ONE person, and he doesn't seem willing to help me out getting this document - not sure how it works in the UK but here there is a main Importer - and the dealers get the cars thru them, and it's only those that can give out those statements :( If the dealers in U.K does the importing themselves I presume they might have access to retrieve the tec data of my car as well. Ah ok, i get it now. btw that guy sounds like a complete tool. :censored: I can't help either way but good luck with it all, it'd be a shame to have you fall right at the end. :salute:

Er, can you not go to a VW dealer in Norway and get it? If a UK dealer has it then surely a local one to you will too. Also would you have problems with it being an English text document?

Remember to SORN on 30th September rather than 1st October or you'll lose a month of refund tax.

bump on now if you don't care about the world cup

I asked Joe (sonicriot13) about this as he's a salesman but he hadn't heard anything and he also made the good point that VW already have one coupe, what would be the point of bringing out another to compete with it?

Is there a definitive way of measuring height with coilovers
The_Dude replied to V-Dubstar's topic in Drivetrain
Go to a car park (for flat ground) and measure from the arch to the centre of the wheel, or the top of the rim. I reckon this eliminates any possible errors with different pressure wheels. Oh and take all the crap out of your car as well like sandbags in the boot, lead bars in the glovebox etc. Maybe go with a full tank of fuel as well? -
Speaking from experience of having 18s (RS4 reps) I wouldn't recommend it. I don't how much yours weigh that you want, but mine felt pretty heavy and coupled with having to run a 215/35 sidewall meant they were crashy as hell and tramlined all over the place. Sometimes I wondered who was steering the car. The suspension also had to be slammed otherwise the ride height looks dumb but again affected the handling. This not only means that your interior will shake rattle and roll but you'll go thru bushes and top mounts like they're going out of fashion. They also take a bit of getting used to visually as they seem pretty huge at first but I came round to them in the end. pics for an idea of fit.

Jim's Corrado - ciao to the Fiat! Hello to.. (P64)
The_Dude replied to Jim's topic in Members Gallery
I've got Weitecs on mine too. As others have said if you have crappy roads the ride is a bit harsh, but on the smooth roads around DG they are awesome. Unfortunately the roads round me are utterly awful and I'm on my 3rd set of top mounts in just over 2 years. (one nearside lot only lasted about 6 months but we got them replaced under warranty.) -
No idea what you're talking about mate, I deny everything. As you can see I have no engine and no tax.

to you too! sorry! i do love your charger! :D Its your charger now Robert... It stopped being mine the moment you sat in the driver seat and christened it with your first drive. I know you definitely will, but I'll say it anyway, enjoy! And thus ends the supercharged chapter of my car. :(

to you too! Glad you're happy with it mate, but you're making me feel a bit misty eyed. I know what you mean about 5th gear, its great for not having to change gear on the motorway and still get some good poke, but after about a month I started changing down just for the rush. :) There's pretty much no "normal" cars that can seem to keep up, its all about exec barges and sports cars now, and they're not so common (or rather don't seem to want to play as much for some odd reason) so you'll generally be one of the fastest on the road. The only annoying thing is when you're in a convoy with other VRs and you have to wait for them to catch up

Stick with it Yan, at least get it running before you rip it out as the resale value will be much better. Shame you're having these issues, but its not exactly a standard setup is it? I heartily admire the work gone in so far. Liking the Blackadder reference too. :salute:

Nice! Love a nugget and American spec is pretty cool too, I know Eric (Tempest) has one in white but do you know who has the other? And where's the 7th speaker? Is it a sub or a front middle speaker on the dash?
-
lol that's how much extra "fun" you get strapping a charger on. I'm sure he's having too much atm to do us a massive write up. Hint.
