Was the first person I knew to get a tongue piercing, about a year before scary spice got hers done and it became popular. I've had it in for 15 years but am considering taking it out As a child I had a dog called "Sid" Is a fully trained croupier but now works for a bank due to more social working hours.

Ghost In The Shell II - 7/10. Could be better, again great art and story, but it drags a bit with the cod philosophy.
-
I saw Ghost In The Shell for the first time last night. Quite good, arty, wordy, tho I feel a bit was lost in translation. 7/10. I never knew anything about these films/series apart from the fact they have quite a cult following. Now I can see why, great idea and story, awesome art and good doses of gunfights too. Gonna watch the second one this weekend, given how the first one ended I am quite intrigued to see what will happen next.

i believe that mk1 is actually clarksons own car. That could explain his "Careful!" as the arch began to tip towards the car as they were moving it round the back. Glad they killed the GSI too, I hated mine. I want a 458 so badly! Having seen some of the press shots I wasn't impressed, but it looks awesome from so many angles when its on the move. Yummy :luvlove:

DudeVR6, seeing as you build front wings, what do you think of the whole flexible wing that Red Bull and Ferrari (to a lesser extent) have? Illegal or just very cunning sidestepping of the rules? Is it something you guys are working on, maybe for next year? Or is it just too much effort with the lack of testing?
-
Easy peasy, two screws at the rear, one or two at the front and one in the speaker hole. Unscrew the door pin(? that plastic knob that locks the door) and take off the door handle trim by pushing either towards the front or the rear of the car, I forget which. Then lift the card up and not out. You may have to prise the top away from the window trim or it may come out as one. Putting it back on is a bit harder, make sure you have located it in the clips at the bottom of the door without breaking any and also put a piece of string round the door pin so you can pull it thru the hole. It can be frustrating to line both up and get the window trim in.

Now that's what I'm talking about. That looks hard as f*cking nails. :salute: ps - we call it a bonnet, not a hood. that's an american term.

Why should it be that the fish in the sea are all unable to sing?

If its stonechipped to feckery I'd be trying my hardest to get a perfect match, its going to look worse imo if you've got a load of slightly different coloured spots peppering it. My £0.02 I stupidly took my VR to VW for its first service. Ouch.

Oh dear...some 'opinions' on the great car.

hehe, having owned Astras right before I got my first Corrado, there is no competition. I had a Mk3 1.8 GSI (ecotec not redtop) and it gave a massive 118 bhp. Oooh, the power. I got a 1.8 valver C after the GSI died and that absolutely crapped all over it in all categories, handling, power & looks. Both were standard btw. Probably about as rare as I hardly saw any other GSIs about, but Astras themselves are common as muck. And the GSI had an embarrassing stalling problem that I never managed to fix properly. Even now I still find myself glancing at the rev counter approaching junctions, expecting to stall - its become second nature for me to do it, it happened so often. I think I am still a member of Migweb...should I go on and set them straight? -
And the Corrado isn't? 80s VW= death!
-
I love the fans infront of the rad. The one on the right looks like a desk fan! And silly power, what does that mean? You put your foot on the pedal and and it tells a joke?
-
Mmm, sounds really nice. How long did that take you?

I have no sympathy for Alonso. He's always throwing his toys out of the pram when things aren't going his way. Granted Massa isn't the best driver out there (the cynics among you might say he only got into the team as he is managed by Jean Todt's son) but if Alonso can't get past on his own, tough luck. It may be hard to overtake your teammate now due to diffusers and the like but lots of other teams have managed it. Its part of racing, Alonso needs to use his skill to pass and not go crying to daddy. ironically i had him in my fantasy f1 team up until this weekend, when he goes and scores a crudload of points

I was reading the posts on the previous page thinking that there was progress happening, then I noticed they were from July 2009

Started poorly, got better. Surprised to see the Bugatti going round the track considering how long it took them to get the original. The Senna piece was great.

Pot...kettle. :) This was actually back in the day before I smoked, when there was no Sunday trading so we knew we couldn't get run over and Tesco's was still a petrol station. What a cr*phole, I guess its cos I grew up there I hold it in favour sentimentally.
-
Nothing wrong with Purley mate. Much. :) I think I also recognise the top of Sainsbury's car park. I spent many a Sunday as small youth hooning down the levels as fast as I could on my bike. I'll have to pop down once the VR is back from surgery.

Looking good Nick, the lure of the VR finally got you eh? 8) Have you moved house, it looks a lot greener in your road than I remember.
