Alpine all the way chum...heard lots of different combos over the years and they're easily the most consistent over the range. In fact, the headunit I'm using is 4 cars and at least 6 years old as i haven't found anything better to replace it with. (can't remember the model #, but its got 60w of beef!) I also used to have a Blaupunkt which kicked bottom in a major way.

Joe, you need to watch Anchorman. Even if you don't like Will Ferrell (which i don't really) its still one of the funniest films ever.
-
Its whatever you want it to be! But mainly that there is a party in my pants.
-
There were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident..... I would like to extend to you, an invitation to the Pants Party. Excuse me? The party....the pants...party with the pants? Are you saying there is a party in your pants and I'm invited? That's it. Gotta love Anchorman.

Ken Block is cool, such amazing car control. Not seen that gymkhana one before. That 171 ft jump he did is a world record and he overshot the landing by 20ft! There's a longer vid of it on YouTube somwhere than the one Kevg60 posted, he mullers his car when he lands...

Turning up to view a car and being met by a camera crew would be a bit off-putting imo, but at least you'd be expecting the car to be reasonably good.
-
There was a thread with the lcd question in it no so long ago...have a search, i'm pretty sure we worked out what it was eventually.
-
I take it you know about the 'secret' mfa readings too?
-
I'd still like a G60 tho, they are more rare as you said.
-
Now why did you have to go and say a thing like that. :( I assumed it was me DDIs getting hot and causing condensation. Better start wearing me asbestos troosies for the day that it explodes over my legs.

ROFL...it could be them, after all most of them used to work on the Ripseed counter in Halfrauds on da Purley Way boss! I've known Uno boy (a chunky hyperactive loon called Mike)for about 3/4 years and in that time he has had the car on the road for a total of 3 months (he put it together then wrote it off and bought another shell), another is a highly racist Saffa called Pat who drives/drove a yellow MG and the another is an OK guy called Joel who drove a sh*tty Fiesta last time I saw him. Oh and maybe a highly grumpy sod of a Chelsea supporter called Matt. None of them had any decent car taste, think some of them recently clubbed together to buy a Sierra Cossy (not sure if its a genuine one, they only paid 3k for it). Fools.

That could be it, I got mine direct from the stealers and made sure they were the Lupo GiT ones? Though I dunno why yours wouldn't fit if others have had success with them. The only other thing I can think of is maybe your windscreen has been replaced and it could be a slightly different curvature? But that doesn't really make much sense to do, if you catch my drift. Other than that

Think I know a few peeps at Oxford Brookes. Got no idea how big it is so don't know if its likely you'd know them. One is obsessed with his Uno Turbo. :camp:
-
Hmm, that's definitely not right, but you might as well test them on another car just to be sure before you send them back.

I'd rather have the Corvette, savage I think he called it. But that Abarth was mighty fun looking for such a diddy little car. -
http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=74151 job done!

Did you buy two drivers side ones? Pretty sure that's what I got and they work fine.

I think you are right there Mr. Wales, its not dark enough for burgandy pearl now I look at it some more. :salute:
-
you're old-fashioned. lol. nah, i agree with what you've said there Phil.
-
Looks pretty tidy there Pip, congrats. The first drive home will have you grinning like a lunatic after you've chucked it into a few corners. It looks like a burgandy pearl but you can find the paint code in the boot on a tatty old sticker. As for a name, you can call it "the Corrado"! lol, I never understood this attempted anthropomorphication (sp?) of cars. As a side note, all interiors are Karmann, it wasn't a Wolfsburg product.

Yeah it gets my goat. :bad-words: My redemption.
