  1. I think as long as you have a kosher cap, its alright.
  2. I hate Steve Rider and his shakey alcoholic hand. And the way he holds the mic like its about to explode and take his fingers with it. Grip it properly man!
  3. As there's one for sale atm and I've not been able to find a definitive answer anywhere on t'interweb - what does a short runner actually do and are they better more suited to turbots than supers?
  4. OK, that's twice my username has been misspelt in this thread. Normally I don't give a flying fudge but for GB i think its important. Its Corradude. Not Carradude or Corradodude. ;) Cheers fellas. Peace out.
  5. 3 relay please chum. ditto as per ^^^^^^^ about the connectors.
  6. lol, nah i mean worse than usual. the amount of times he had to be corrected was starting to get embarrassing.
  7. God no - did you hear him at the Race of Champions last year? He's lost it completely.
  8. Yes! Hate James Allen. See if they can get Suzi Perry from Moto GP. Mmmmm.
  9. I've had both having lived in sketchy areas of south london and i'd say get the disclock. the bar seemed really puny, though i did try to get it off when i lost my keys and failed miserably! get it off in 5 mins my @rse. found me keys again so all was ok. with the disc, a huge lump of metal covering the wheel makes it harder for them to remove the whole wheel and is certainly more a visual deterrent, but if they want your car, they'll find a way. it just stops the opportunist pikey. as for the space thing, well wang it in your boot or behind your seat, no biggie, but the rattling will annoy you after a bit if you leave it in the cabin.
  10. Yeah, they looked fookin tops. Loved walking up to my car with them on, they look much better in the metal than in photo for. I suppose with standard suspension they won't be so crashy, before I had my Weitecs I was on some unknown red and yellows and it wasn't that bad. Once I changed tho, i was gritting teeth and wincing every time a hole in the road appeared.
  11. Think that was me Kip, they're changed now for some super tiny wheels.
  12. They will fit, but most likely rub, more at the fronts. I used to have 18" RS4/TT reps and the front arches rolled. Even on 215s I was still having slight issues at the back, but I was slightly lowered. Check the link in my sig for what they look like. Pretty big, but I liked em. Also worth considering is your car will handle like poo - tramlining and being incredibly crashy over potholes.
  13. It looks super nice. The colour is freakin' sweet and the wheels are tops.
  14. You don't make a car go faster by putting heavy brakes and huge wheels on it. They should have listened to Clarkson and stuck a fekking turbo on it. It was pathetic really to see them waste all that licence payers money for virtually no result. For 9 grand I could have strapped a jet engine to it. Oh and its still better than Top Gear Australia. Just.
  15. the problem has been overcome i'm sure, have a good old search.
  16. dunno chum, but bear in mind they'll be pointing the wrong way as they drive on the right. i think you can swap something over though so the beam pattern shines the right way.
  17. I'm not sure they do that any more, I couldn't find a price last time I looked and when I bought my door pods I emailed them and got no reply. If your fabricating skills are up to tho... http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=67421&p=782683&hilit=sub#p782683
  18. Best replace it as quickly as possible, you don't want it leaving you stranded miles from home for such a cheap part. Luckily mine broke as I was parking up outside my house. Its quite easy to do, a little fiddly but nothing 5 minutes of swearing won't help.
  19. 25 quid for a wheel! top stuff, will be paying them a visit at xmas.
  20. It may be the case that they wouldn't give discount but they'd probably be more willing to deal with us if we order in one go.
  21. Did you find it ok, or did you have to ferret around?
  22. LMFAO I'll bring dessert! Its a date baby. :fondle:
  23. Think the intermittent wiper only works on late interiors, it didn't work in my 1.8 valver. "Secret readings": With the engine running, hold down the mfa button and switch off. still holding down the button switch back on again. Voila! There are different readings, basically engine diagnostics... \MFA switch on position 1: 1. Engine code 2. Land code 3. Speedometer 4. Upper rev limiter 5. Lower rev limiter 6. Deceleration fuel pressure 7. Display test MFA switch on position 2: 1. Test program of programmed bytes 2. G60 pressure meter 3. Digital rev counter 4. Fuel usage (like normal) 5. Signal from speedo sensor 6. Oil temperature (like default) 7. Ambient temperature (like default) This is for G60, 1.8 and 2.0 I think, on my VR I only get a few readings.
