Fitted the stereo and sub at the weekend so all the lower dash was off. Took off most of the centre console too out of curiosity. I know its not reall "doing" anything to it, but I've just thrashed it to Gatwick and back cos I fancied a drive. A good 50 mins each way with some nice twisty back country roads.

Stroeve do a kit that replaces the lot and has all the necessary gubbins coming out the back. Think its about 120 notes.

I believe the vin goes WVWZZZ00ZZZ000000 Obviously i have changed the letters to Z and the numbers to 0, but that's how it goes. If in doubt, HPI it. If you google HPI discount you should get a code that allows you to get it for 15 quid. There should also be a sticker in the boot that says the vin? Or maybe I'm too pissed and imagining things.

I'm going to do this tomorrow, do you need to use something to seal it to stop water leaking in, or is it ok to just pop the grommet in?

If it was a big company (such as play or hmv) i would have no problem keeping it, but as a honest dubber, that's where the problem comes in (adaptable morals as double-6s says). I ordered something for my C from a certain company in Canada (naming no names) and it seems they have only charged me once, but sent me the item twice. Now, do I do the right thing and send the extra one back, or flog it to someone on here and make most of my money back? Bear in mind it cost almost 70 quid, hence the dilemma. If it was cheap I'd send it straight back. (Sorry if this topic is in the wrong place.)

Mmm, I like, that's close to what I'm after. No odd finger grips, flat bottom, or different textures. Simple and uncluttered and probably a helluva lo cheaper too.

Boris will only make it worse. Seriously worse. His bumbling incompetance might make him endearing to the public but as a person he is racist, bigoted, misinformed and generally a shambling mess. Personally I think Red Ken has done a good job and the C charge is a good thing. If you can afford a Porsche Cayenne, then why bitch when you are charged? He is trying to get people out of their cars and onto public transport or bicycles. Central London is much less polluted and the roads aren't jam packed anymore. Maybe its because I'm a Londoner that I think its good, but who needs to drive into the centre?

That's all well and good, but you should beat him on he track on a level playing field, not by preventing him from setting a lap. Alonso has gone down in my estimation. I liked his for his fiery temperament and no bull attitude in the car, but this is tactics of the weak-minded.

Not sure Alonso would have answered the question anyway, he probably would have made up something like he couldn't get it gear. Schumacher got done though last season for the same thing - albeit on the track and to a rival not a teammate, so we'll see if he is penalised in any way. Its good that Alonso is so scared of Lewis that he has to resort to tactics like that to get his advantage, its almost unthinkable a 2 time world champion would feel the need to do that to a rookie. Pussyhole. :D
