Have a look over on Dubforce at THIS THREAD Might be worth contacting the guy to see if they could do the same for you.

Lol, It's my poor punctuation in the title! I've gone for another pair of FK Konigsports. I spoke to Venom where I originally got them from who are going to send me out the rears. I think it's only drivers side shock that is fubar'd, probbaly from dropping the weight of a Corrado with a full boot on it. Going to smother the new adjusters in grease to seal them, and also check the fronts to make sure they dont suffer the same fate.
-
Yep FK coillies. I had the adjusters crack on the front when I went to raise my car before. I'm just a little pi$$ed that the shocks are knackered too. :?

nice colour dude, G40 looks sweet too 8)

Yet again my car has found itself at the mercy of an AA van. Driving home last night and the rear drivers side coilover collapsed. Initially, I thought the topmount had gone, however it turns out the shitty alloy adjuster rings had exploded. Removed the coilover today and the shock has seen better days, as in it no longer absorbs shock. New pair on the way, cant complain at the service from Venom but it looks like my new wheels plan is on hold

good effort Epic

Congratulations dude, you must be chuffed. My missus is due in 7 weeks and I cant wait! Yeh it does understeer a bit, I need to keep my eyes peeled for a bargin! I want to ditch the Borbets and go back to 17's. I want something a little lighter as the borbs weigh a ton!! I'm off to another RR day at some point in the near future so I want to have a proper run this time and get the number it deserves
-
I know, but unless I'm careful I'm going to end up with your car, but in blue! I keep looking for an anti roll bar, but the wife has tightened the purse strings as we have a nipper due in October. Just out of interest, what offset were your wheels?
-
I should have brought your whole car dude

Windows down in equal amounts Stereo volume is only ever increased/decreased in even numbers and never set to an odd number. Run up to temp before going nuts with the loud pedal

I've spent the last 10 years in the RAF, joined up straight from school. Trained up as an Avionics Technician.
-
Mmmm I agree. SAS... the worlds biggest regiment... everyone's in it... ...and if they're not in, their mate is! People who are SF, dont talk about it.

Well the Borbets are up for sale now, as I have found a suitable replacement. Whilst i do like the look of the Borbets, they are limiting my options for upgrading my brakes. New wheels should hopefully be sorted by bank holiday weekend

I've found out today I can expect to spend some time (6 months) next year somewhere hot and sandy. I want to store the Corrado whilst I'm away, and would just like to know what is best to do. I will be getting a car cover as I have no garage and I dont think the wife will be washing her every week! Am I best to leave it with an empty yank of fuel to stop it going off? and jack it up to preserve the tires? And help would be great.
-
Good result. Glad this has worked out for you.

You could always keep the centre silencer and have it routed the same as JMC has his: PICTURES HERE I think you'll be getting the best of both worlds then

what about the 305mm disc for an ibiza curpa R?

It's kind of car related, well it has a car in the picture:

Got stopped this morning by the local Constabulary as I had a brake light out. No biggy as I carry spare bulbs. As I'm stood there changing it, he has a quick look round (tires etc) and then complements me on how good conditions she's in for the age. Said that the exhaust note sounded good as he was following and it was nice to see a modified car not being driven like it's been TWOC'd.

:salute: I think a google session is in order for me to get my head round it

I have searched but been unable to solve my query. I am looking at swapping my Borbets for a new set of wheels. The ones I want are 17x7 with an offset of 15. Mine are 16x7.5 ET33. I dont really understand the whole offset thing, I just know that it effects how far a wheel will tuck/poke in an arch. Will the new wheels I'm looking at sit further out or in than my current wheels? And if they is further in, will they clear my brakes? This is on a G60 (4 stud) hub. Cheers Slim

g60jaime's G60... recommissioning for the road

Cheers, you may remember I bought the boost return delete kit from you, i think? Not fitted it yet as not too sure if I'll like the effects. As for the PWR chargecooler I have all the bits but want to fit this in conjunction with re-doing the the cooling system. All the coolant hoses are a bit crunchy from a previous owner presumably using rad-weld or something. Would like to get Samco coolant pipe kit finished in classic black they do now, I would get the boost pipes in the same finish. Its all time and money at the end of the day! I remember now! I know what your saying about time and money, I have these amazing plans in my head but a big hole in my wallet! -
